This is my second one for storage of cameras, and accessories. I like the anti theft features to prevent stick hands trying to steal stuff. LowPro known for quality and only company that has that feature in United States.

I tried the slingshot bag first, but it wouldn't fit a 70-300mm zoom comfortably (on a Canon DSLR) and when sliding it around, the bend in the bag made it difficult to pull the camera out. No such issues with this bag! The spin-around design works great, and it comfortably holds multiple lenses and a 70-300mm mounted. Nice extra/other storage areas.

I take whitetail deer & wildlife photos in South Texas and for the past few years didn't own a backpack large enough to hold my Sony A6400 with a Sigma 150-600mm C lens attached to it. I always had to carry a smaller backpack for the camera and smaller lenses, a separate case for the 150-600mm, and my tripod when I went out to photograph trophy bucks. Very inconvenient on long walks, until I made this purchase. Now, I can carry everything I need with the Lowepro Flipside 300 AW II Backpack. Great pricing from Adorama too!

Great product. I bought this to backpack for day hikes, with my camera and tripod. Solid build and easy to attach a small tripod on the outside of the bag. Has second external pocket for water. Reasonable price.

Great backpack, easily holds camera body with 100-400 lens. has plenty of room for more and all the misc. items you need to carry., Light weight but very solid padding and adjust ability.

Internally, I had to rearrange how I was loading the pack before I could come up with 2 setups that would work for me. Setup 1 is a "Load as much as you can" type of set up, it would have me carry the camera, 3 lenses, the hoods for my 2 largest lenses, 2 flashes, 1 radio transmitter for the flashes, battery charger for the camera's battery, battery charger for the flashes batteries, dust blower, camera strap and other small miscellaneous items; Setup 2 is more of "day trip" type of set up, camera attached to one lens, 2 other lenses, the hoods, 1 flash, so essentially I'm leaving out 1 flash, the transmitter, battery chargers. The main gain is I now can have the camera attached to the lens (see attached pictures). Another comment I have, I may be wrong, but it doesn't look like the 300, 400, 500, etc. relate to the volume/space available to store equipment. In other words, I would like to have it for sure that along all of the Lowepro bags, a 400 would hold twice as much as a 200, a 300 50% more than a 200 and so on. Overall I like the bag, I was having second thoughts until I came up with the set ups mentioned above. Would I have purchased a different bag? Maybe the 400 if I had tried it. I feel camera backpacks are like shoes, you have to try them on to know if they really fit YOU. A larger bag would have made the job easier of packing the bag without all of these changes and particularly without having to carry the camera separate from the lenses. I felt tempted to return it for the same reason and order the 400, however that would had me carry more stuff than I actually need more often! So I decided to keep this bag.

The velcro liner was so limited inside that it gave little adjustment range. The waist strap is thin and does not give enough support to swing a loaded bag around on your waist. Wildly over-rated. it's simply ordinary.

I wanted a bag large enough to fit all my lens and still a normal size, as I am a petite person. This bag fits my 70-200 mm and more perfect and I can carry it on my back while shooting a photo session. Great bag!
