I ordered this backpack for an upcoming trip. I needed a personal bag for my flight that held more than just my camera. This one has space for my iPad (or laptop) in the back and space for other items in the top. I like the easy open side option to grab my camera quick and the ability to latch the zips through the clips to make it more safe and not easily opened for contents to fall out.

I got the bag the exact same day Adorama said I would get it. This bag feels very well made and sturdy without feeling bulky. It seems pretty small but it holds a lot. The lower anterior compartment for the camera is quite convenient, making it easy to carry the camera without it getting in the way of the rest of the cargo, easy access for when you need the camera quickly without having to go through your whole bag, only partially open the zipper and there you have it.Up top you have 2 compartments where you can carry books, wallets, lights, pens, power banks, portable hard drives. and then against your back you have your laptop compartment. I have a 15 inch Laptop and it fits perfectly with room to spare. On the side you have a small pocket for a water bottle or tripod, or even an extra lens. The construction of the bag feels strong and that it can withstand a lot of weather and traffic. The zippers run smoothly and secure. 2 of the 4 zippers only have one slider, i wish they all 2.

Needed a bit larger backpack to carry same amount of camera gear presently carried in my original backpack PLUS a change of clothes and my iPad for upcoming, three-week, European river cruise. After extensive research and physically inspecting my friend?s BP 250 (in black,) I decided on the gray in the same model. It has been an excellent choice. Comfort, ergonomic design, ease of access, and flexibility are the highlights of this pack. Old pack containing same equipment was uncomfortable on my shoulders, plus it put pressure along my spine while hiking. The BP 250 containing same camera equipment, but with MORE items overall, not only is comfortable, but makes the load feel less than it actually is. ?Free gift? with my purchase of the pack was the GorillaPod, for which I have no use; however, I did purchase the LowePro GearUp Wrap to hold small essentials. While it is, IMHO, well overpriced, it is the perfect companion for the BP250 to hold cords, dongles, extra batteries, SD cards, etc. in a very accessible and compact manner. I do wish the ?stabilizing belt? that goes around the waist were more of a substantial, padded, hip-riding belt, but if it were, the BP 250 would neither be as compact nor store as easily in aircraft overhead compartments or under seat. Yet, the intended function of the pack?s belt is obvious once it is on and clipped; it does a very good job of limiting pack sway and bounce. To top it all off, the BP 250 comes with a separate raincover stowed in its own pouch! In the pack, I am currently carrying (with room to spare for a full change of lightweight clothes:) Canon T6i (in a rubber camo skin) Canon 18-55 Canon 55-250 Sigma 100-400 10 filters, 7 SD cards, 3 Canon batteries, charger, iOS download dongle, air bulb, Canon remote shutter release, lightning cable, iPad, ultralight 60? tripod, and pack raincover. There is still room (but barely!) for a pair of lightweight poly travel pants, poly shirt, poly boxers, and socks. The LowePro BP 250 is well-thought-out, user-friendly camera/travel pack.

The Fastpack BP 250 had good reviews and a great video that described its features. It does live up to its construction, space, and fabric claims. But with my DSLR (Canon D80) and 3 medium size lenses along with some filters and other accessories, the backpack cuts into my shoulders when wearing and is uncomfortable to wear for more than 1/2 hour. So I will have to use it for transporting outing equipment to automobile and than move what I think I will need for a specific shoot to my Lowepro Sling bag. I could also use it with 1 camera and 1 lens and some clothes, but that is not what I purchases the backpack for.

Perfect fit for my Nikon Z50 mirrorless and 3 lenses fit in the main compartment. The two kit lenses (DX Z 17-50 on the camera, DX Z 50-250 in a separates area) and a 50mm F1.8 prime lens also in a separated area all fit easily in the main compartment. Strobe, transmitter, Nikon FTZ adapter, and chargers fit in the upper compartment along with my iPad. Phone and assorted cables fit in side zippered compartment. Small tripod locks into the side zipper pouch. Takes everything I need for travel. Love that it is a shoulder sling bag. Perfect for the on the go photographer with a mirrorless camera.

It looks the same in person as it did online. It is light, spacious and has plenty of room. You can organize it as you want. Dual purpose camera bag and personal items for traveling.

This bag is fantastic! I just recently got a new Nikon D4 which has a larger body on it and desperately needed something that could handle all of my gear. It's super comfortable to wear and doesn't make my back sore. It has lots of storage and the fact that it's all water resistant (and waterproof with the cover) makes me feel so safe. There are so many little features that just take this bag to the next level and it's super easy to personalize to fit your exact needs.

After combing thru countless backpacks and reviews I landed on this one. I'm hobbyist so my main use will be hiking, traveling and sporting events so it fit my needs. The backpack is light and well made, zippers are heavy duty, padding is impressive and the material has a pleasing pattern. The equipment area is very customizable with all the pieces being detachable. I was able to fit a Nikon 70-300+FTZ+Z body with 2 inches to spare and 2 additional lenses vertically and some other small accessories. Also found my 15" HP Spectre laptop fits snugly in the laptop compartment. Top area is a good size for a few personal items or additional gear.
