The case didn?t last long. 6 months. The ringer switch was difficult to you. Had to take my case off. Wish they had the clear ones.

Decided to upgrade my cheaper waterproof case when people began to complain about the sound quality with calls. I had purchased Fre?s in the past for older iPhone?s, but had not done so for my XR yet and thought, why not? This case is most definitely waterproof, and has already saved my phone from a couple of significant drops. That said, it seems to allow more dust/pocket debris in (I?ve had to open it up and clean out the inside of the screen cover twice now). I also have people complaining more about the sound quality now than before. Overall, decent case, but not the quality I would expect for the price tag

I am on my 2nd Lifeproof iPhone case and only changed cases as I upgraded. I purchased a Lifeproof case for my son's iPhone as we both can be hard on cell phones. I recently contacted Lifeproof because the hard plastic ringer switch was deteriorating. I told them I wasn't sure if it was under warranty as I'd had trouble signing into my account. I explained it the the customer service rep and he told me they were going to send me a replacement case. This type of service along with exceptionally impressive cases is why my oldest son and I will be Lifeproof fans for many years to come!

With the screen protector of the iphone case it is hard to click on the screen taking several taps to get the phone to respond. The original last proof iPhone case did not have a screen protector and was much user-friendly.

Lifeproof is the only phone case I will use. I go through one or two in a year. Phones are expensive and lifeproof case is the only one that can protect my phone from all that I do.

The rubber that goes around to seal the case would not stay in, I couldn?t answer or hang up phone with the cover on. I have had 2 other of life proof there were great, love then drop my phone so many time never a problem with life proof. I would like to return this one of even if i could get back half my cost and i will gladly send it back it was only on my phone 1and 1/2 days there are no mark on the case.

I bought this lifeproof a month ago and it's all dinged up already. It fell on the ground a few times and now the edges of the case are rough and hurt my fingers when holding the phone. I buy new lifeproofs every so often for this reason but I'm beginning to think they're not as sturdy as I once thought. My phone is OK so the case is solid, but I can't afford to keep buying $76 phone cases for a iphone xr.

This case works well to protect the phone against falls. When I try to make phone calls, nobody can hear me unless I?m on speaker phone. People say that I sound very far away. I literally can not make or receive phone calls unless I use speakerphone or some Bluetooth device. Customer service is impossible to reach.

I purchased this item within the past month but have been using Lifeproof phone and ipad covers for several years. The fre is sleek and will prevent the phone from slipping from my hand. Wished there were more color options. The only issue I have is that the flap that covers the charging port is going to break off soon. All the previos styles had a sturdy cover over the opening. Based on the reduction in quality of that portion of the phone cover, it was a bit pricey. I will see how long the piece of plastic cover/flap stays in one piece.

Bought this on sale at my local Sprint store 2 years ago when I bought my iPhone XR. I loved the waterproof design and used it everywhere I went! After about 6 months, I really started feeling some of the negative aspects of the case though. With the phone having a face recognition to unlock, having the small amount of distance between the phone camera and the case caused some sort of reflection or distortion so that the phone won?t unlock, or, if I?m on the phone, the screen refused to stay up to allow me to change the call type from speaker to Bluetooth, merge the call, or the like. It frustrated me a lot so I would take the phone out of the case once a week or so to make a call or simply unlock the phone, at which point the sealing rings/gasket came unstuck from the case after opening it up 4-5 times in a month! so, I tried to put the rubber gasket back in and when I closed the case, there would always be a corner that refused to seal completely since the gasket was always flopping around inside the case. I ended up having to use masking tape wrapped around the gasket to add thickness to the rubber and that held it in place until I was annoyed enough with calls not working correctly that I bought a cheapo case that works better for everyday use, and the life proof case has sat unused in my desk drawer for the last 6 months.

bought on line arrived on time followed directions to test it for water proofness and it passed no leaks . Put it on the phone and the phone work well even thru the protective cover that is water proof.. If It holds up it will be worth the price we will see.....

I bought this 2 months ago with my new phone and like all my other phones lifeproof is the way to go I?ve accidentally throw my phone across the track at school and left it on my toolbox on the way home and never fell off I have never broke a phone because of lifeproof cases are the best

Ever since my first 4s iPhone, I have used lifeproof phone cases. Have never failed to keep my phones safe. I get caught in the rain often and although I?m soaked through, the phone case has always done it?s job and kept my expensive phone dry. Lifeproof has no peer in compact, yet impenetrable phone cases. They seem to be in a category all by itself.

I bought this a month ago, I?ve only ever use life proof case is the 12 years I?ve had Apple products, the case I had before purchasing this one was a clear hard shell life proof case. I had it for two years and it was no longer usable so I ordered the FRE case because that?s the only super protective case that they carry now for iPhone XR which really upset me because I liked having my clear plastic case so that I could put anything on the inside of it and make it look like my own case, I put Polaroids and stickers in it so it looked really cool. Now I can?t do it with the FRE. I didn?t want this case but I?m not eligible for a new phone yet so I had to do what I had to do. Definitely not worth the hundred dollars I spent on it. My friends can?t hear me when I?m on the phone with them because the speaker is so muffled from the ? waterproof technology? when I play videos off of my phone it sounds like my phone is underwater. I have not put my phone in water to test the case, so there would be no water in my speakers. I just wish I could?ve got the case I had before because this one has given me tons of issues. It?s not easy to use. I don?t like having to open the bottom flap to charge my phone, I didn?t buy this case because I wanted the waterproof technology I bought it because I wanted to make sure I wouldn?t crack my screen, the last case I had didn?t have the jack where the charger port is, or the screen protector over the phone, but I never had an issue with my phone shattering or cracking when I dropped it with my last case. I just wish they still made the model of case that I used to have because this one sucks. This FRE case was the first one that I ever purchased for my iPhone four and I can continue to buy another one when I got my iPhone 6. I?ve had this case before and I liked it but this one I have at the moment I do not like at all.

I love the LifeProof cases but the last two I purchased have the same issue. When using the phone, the screen goes dark when placed to the ear (as it is supposed to. If still on the call, however, it remains "blank" when taking it away from my ear. I am unable to "wake it up", even by pushing buttons, etc., to multitask. I confirmed that the issue is the case; when removed from the case, this issue never happens. Fairly minor annoyance since I rarely "multitask" when talking on the phone, but is frustrating when I do need to look at something else while still on the phone. Other than that, there is no better case.

Im outdoors a fair bit, around kids and work with animals. My phone needs to handle being dropped and bumped, as well as being cleaned. This new case has a clear crack in the seem and it is quickly dirtied. Undoing the case again and again defeats the purpose and opens my phone up to damage as I?m in a high humidity environment and a lot of fur during my work day. It?s also showing wear faster than any case before it. I still trust it to protect my phone better than other cases but there?s improvements needed.

I?ve always been a fan of life proof. I hoped to just replace my last case (slam for xr, I think) but it was discontinued. I tried the waterproof case with the screen. Unfortunately, it became very difficult to type on my phone and I had to return. I specifically had difficulty calling my son?s dr when he was sick because I couldn?t type in the numbers for the automated answering service in order to have the on call nurse call me back. I?m awaiting a refund but I feel confident it will be processed soon. I still think lifeproof is a great company and will consider purchasing in the future.

I bought this case thinking that it would be perfect for kayaking. The waterproof part of it is fine but no one can hear me on it. Every time I try to talk people are asking me what I'm saying because it's super muffled. I tried to get a different case and they will only send the exact same style that I purchased.
