Most waist packs are sag-challenged. Meaning if you put too much into it, it WILL sag. I wanted to be able to carry a smaller bag (Inverse 100 AW) in my larger camping backpack then take the smaller bag on photo-shoots away from camp. The Inverse would have met that need until I tried to load tested it with: 1 - Canon Rebel Xsi 1 - Canon 17-55mm f2.8 lens (attached) 1 - Garmin GPS/radio handheld 1 - Slick 630 carbon fiber tripod 1 - Manfrotto 488RC0 ball-head 1 - Lee ND filter 1 - Cokin filter adapter + ring I thinned my kit out to what I considered a bare minimum of what I needed to cover most photo situations. I had to use the Inverse's included shoulder strap across my chest to help carry the load. It was still pretty unstable. I decided it would not meet my needs. I thought of going up to the Inverse 200 AW but figured that would be too big to fit in my camping backpack. I am returning it and getting the Slingshot 100 AW (which I owned before). Which is a tad bigger than the Inverse 100 AW but is still small enough to fit in my camping backpack and still provide a more stable pack for shooting away from camp. My reco is if you are going to get this pack consider carrying just a pro-sumer camera and 1 good zoom lens.
