I thought it would be like the one I have on my iPhone but it’s not! It’s a 1 piece with a screen protector. I use it on my Harley so I don’t think it will be as weather proof as they say! Not what I expected!

I ordered 2 cases for my daughters. One fit ok, but the buttons were hard to push. The second one would not fit correctly and couldn't use the buttons at all. Also, the front of the case is just a plastic stick-on film.

This is the best available case to protect iPod. Easy to encase. Seals are great. 1 and only thing I don’t like, is the adhesive screen protector. You have to remove adhesive screen protector if you want/need to take out. The protector is NOT reusable. Only 2 come with the case. Solid buy for your iPod.

This is a plastic backing with a sticker to cover the front. I ordered a lifeproof case for the kids because I was expecting waterproof, etc etc. The same as I expect for my cell phone. $50 for these is way too much.

I purchased this case for an Ipod and was totally disappointed. My whole family has Lifeproof cases for Iphones which we are very please with the quality but the Ipod case doesnt even remotely compare and made out of cheap, poor quality material. Definitely not worth the money.

Not worth the high price. Difficult to pull out the silicone flap to charge the iPod. In addition you have to carry around a separate connector to listen to iPod with earbuds.

Issue 1: the little tabs to help open the port “doors” broke off after a couple of months *i destroyed the case for ur so that’s why the port doors aren’t attached to their former case* Issue 2: (Plz note this was with my most recent case, or #3 The bottom part, where the lip is, broke. *don’t worry you’ll probably never see me in real life* Issue 3: (Case 1) the iPod power and home buttons both had constant pressure on them, causing Siri and the power off to constantly pop up Issue 4: I feel that there should be spare parts(ex. Screen protectors w/ the same color boarder, and headphone/earbud adapters) Issue 5: The adapters (I have gone through 4) keep shorting out, meaning I can’t hear anything from 1 side, I’m not sure if this is because of the way it was packaged (each side plugged into each other) I hope whoever just read that lengthy review found it helpful!

I bought this more than a month ago and I like it, it actually is waterproof the ports are rubber but they work but overall the case is very good. The biggest flaw is the way it becomes water proof is a screen protector that goes on top your phone screen and expense to the edges of the case which create a waterproof Seal. lifeproof only includes two waterproof screen protectors and the only way to get another one just buy another case or get a warranty issued one

I bought this a week ago, and love it. I use it with my iPod touch whenever I workout and run. It helps protect my iPod by keeping it waterproof, and also helps protect it by keeping it from getting scratched. I'll never use any kind of phone case besides LifeProof.

It is a nice looking case and it’s good and all but for the price I thought it would be better I didn’t realize it works with the screen protectors and the one I put on has a horrible rainbow effect, I only got one spare and expect it to do the same plus I can’t buy replacements... it doesn’t have any kind of bumper in the front to protect the screen from falling facedown so that is also a big let down, I think the rubber nuns will wear off with time as well and they collect dust a lot when open for use... for 80$ I was just expecting a really good case not one that makes me have to tell myself oh well it’s decent and hope that the screen doesn’t get damaged and it does it’s job ok at least... I can’t stand the rainbow thing tho and the case won’t stay waterproof forever because of the design the only thing I like it the way it looks and the padding around the side

I have several LifeProof cases on iPhones and iPads and have been very satisfied with them. I purchased one for my sons iPod Touch.... I don't think it holds up to the standards or quality that LifeProof is known for. The back of the case is good but then it only has a "sticker" for the front! I don't see how this would be considered "waterproof, dust proof, etc"?!?! Needs a redesign!

I purchased this several weeks ago and it is rather functional. It is good but not up to the standard set by other lifeproof products. In many ways it is inferior to their offerings for Android and IPhone products.

Well let's see, where do I start. First of all it's not a Frè. Well if it is, it's only half of it. The port covers are pretty cheesy, don't see them lasting very long. The way the back of the case is and how the front screen protector fit together I don't see it being water proof due to the air pocket near the home button on the iPod. I haven't had an issue with using the buttons like some people have stated, so that's a plus. I don't understand why they couldn't just build it as a Frè, instead of going half assed like they did. Lifeproof has always had a pretty good product for the other Apple devices I own and have owned.

Generally life proof cases are my go to case, they are tough and sturdy. This case seems only half made. I say that because the front piece is actually a sticker and not a hard plastic like other lifeproofs. It should work I guess but for the money I really expected a higher quality of craftsmanship.

I spent the extra money on a lofeproof case for my daughter's iPod because I trusted it to be tough and well built. And it is, at least the back part. Upon receiving the case, I found out that the port covers are flimsy pieces of soft rubber and the front piece is nothing more than a thick screen film. Long story short, my daughter chews on the flimsy rubber pieces and I highly doubt the waterproofness of the case as it's nothing more than a shell with a screen film. Not happy at all about it. Only have two stars because I like lifeproof brand as a whole and the back cover is tough and durable like their other cases.

The ipod survived a 2 week vacation with my 10 year old grandson thanks to the life proof case. A trail ride in Glacier Park, Yellowstone Park and river, etc. I have one on my Samsung phone also and it has saved my phone many times doing farm chores.

I am hoping this case provides some waterproofing, but it is nowhere near as nice as the Nuud design for other Apple models. The clear plastic cover looks like it will be easily scratched and it inhibits touch and creates refractory patterns which make small text hard to read

The case is functional but the stick on water proofing screen protector does not appear that it will stand up to the handling required in this environment. Since the company sends a spare with each case they must realize that also. Will likely try others to find the right case for this environment. This is a shame as I already have used the IPad and IPhone Nuud for years and love them.

I got this to replace a case that got chipped after it fell. Be aware this DOES NOT have a plastic/glass screen protector like the phone version does. That is a major downside i think since usually the 1st thing to break when you drop a touchscreen phone/ipod is the screen. Overall a decent case, it has good seals covering the ports to prevent water damage though since it doesn't have a screen protector i do not know if water would get in through there; and i am not about to dunk my ipod in water to test it. I think this is a decent case but if you have had the touchscreen crack with previous phones/ipods i think their are better cases, this i believe is more for water proofing and scratch resistance.

I bought this case last year for my iPod touch 6th generation and I have yet to have a crack or a scratch. The only thing wrong is that the screen protector part loses its ability to stick after a few months. I would like there to be replacement screen protectors for sale. But overall this case rocks!!!

I bought the lifeproof for my toddler because I knew she would need a good sturdy case because she is so rough! The first case I received I noticed the power button was very difficult to turn on/off. It also would randomly turn on/off without anyone touching it. I thought maybe it just needed to be "worked in" but it never got better. I finally called customer service and explained the issues I had. They have the best customer service ever! I called late at night and surprisingly they were still hard at work. Super nice lady helped me with no problems and sent out a new case. The new case works awesome! My little one has no problems with it and mom doesn't have a heart attack when she throws it across the room lol I know it is protected! Lifeproof is the way to go!
