I like the entire Lowepro Omni line, and have a couple each of the Sport, Traveller, and Trekker. The only one I don't have is the Pro; it's a bit smaller than the Trekker so I don't need it. The each fit perfectly in a Pelican case, so if you need to go rugged, you can. With the Trekker, I can carry 3 Quantum flashes with batteries, remote heads, cables. Or a full set of bodies and basic lenses. (Or both, since I have two). With respect to the previous review concerning Pro DSLR bodies; well the specs give the internal dimensions (5.25 in. deep), and a Canon 1D Mark II N is 6.2 in. high, so it is easy to conclude that such a body will not fit. These have been discontinued, but I really recommend them.

Purchased this bag for airline travel, to work in a Pelican 1550 Case. I am impressed with the design and construction of the bag, however, when loading my gear into the bag, the 1D Mark IIn will not fit. The bag depth is about 1 inch too narrow, and you cannot close the top of the bag completely. 2 stars for not specifying in the specs that Pro SLR's will not fit. Now to send this and the 1550 back to find a solution that does work.

You can go to extremes -- or even check your camera system on airlines -- with this multi-format backpack/shoulder bag (Omni Trekker) that fits into a virtually indestructible waterproof hard case (Trekker Extreme or Pelican 1550).
