Shopper : Does this version fit an iPad?DIXIE G : Yes. I put my 5D Mark III and two lenses in it so a tablet would be no problem. My tablet fits and it's a little over 10 inches.JUDY H : No, you have to get the messenger style bag for that.JOSHUA Z : No, an ipad will not fit.TJ H : Which iPad?
Shopper : What is dfference between this and sling 1 ?JAMES H : Nothing we bought the 1 and. The. We bought four of the number 2 bag and they are the same other than the colors for trim and etc. Both of them zip and expand exactly as the ordinal , I think it's just a marketing ,agenda ,The one thing that is different is the price the first bags Cost about 55 dollars and w bought ours for 20 a piece and right now there are the second version for 29.99 on adorama just google the link.FARLEY M : I own the SLING 1, and I don't really see any dramatic dimensional differences. All the compartments and overall the design seem to be the same (other than color). The only difference I notice is the removable padded box does NOT have a mini velcro pocket for CF/SD cards as the Sling1 does. But the interior has 2 velcro flapped pockets handy for memory cards and batteries. This bag seems demure, but open up the zipper expander and I've fit 2-3 DSLR's and another 2-3 point & shoots plus flash unit and water bottle and other misc items! I'd advise using spare foam dividers from other camera bags to line the other half of the bag if you're carrying more than one camera, because the removable foam box only takes up half the bag.VICTOR D : I feel that the externals are the same but the removable pocket is just shaped very slightly differently. I would take this in a heartbeat.
Shopper : How big is the bag?PATRICIA G : It's perfect for traveling, a little to big if you are exploring. I am happy with it.JAMES H : If your comparing it to the first one that came out its exactly the same ,if your looking for a reference of size in general it's about 16 inches long and depth around 10 inches and width at fullest part I'd say about 8 inches ,but the thing is with hot he's bags the zipper on one end unzips and gives about 30 percent. More storage and there is pockets on both ends and pockets inside as well, for instance I had my 60d and my 40d with a 10-22 lens and a 17-55 lens and both the cabin flashes the 430 and the 580 and a few batteries and a mini tripod ,plus the shoulder strap is really great for lugging cameras around safely and comfortably.BRENDA C : About the size of a cat. :)AMY F : Interior dimensions are : 13.8 x 4.7 x 9.6 in./35 x 12 x 24.4 cm (W x D x H) , and exterior dimensions are : 15.3 x 7.4 x 11.7 in./38.8 x 18.8 x 29.7 cm as listed in the specs. It is lightweight and will hold a DSLR and 2 other lenses, as well as some small accessories in the outer pockets.TERRY L : good for 1 camera with standard len + 1 extra lens + 1 small flash.

Great "street" bag

This doesn't look like a camera bag so it's easily carried around with a camera inside with a few accessories, plus small wallet, sunglasses, etc. It's sturdy (ripstop nylon), you can take out the padding and toss it in the laundry. It has these neat pockets on the side and on one end so you could put extra memory cards, keys, etc. BUT these handy pockets have no closing! Easy to lose things out of them and easy to have some sticky fingers take something out of them. I got some heavy duty velcro and sewed it on the inside rim of the pockets and you can betcha they're secure now! Why did Lowepro think of that? It has 2 small pockets on the inside for pens or cell phone. It needs a couple of zipper pockets inside as well (memory cards, change).

Great bag

I bought this bag for my mirrorless OM-D camera and lenses when I don't need to carry everything however I could put everything in it if I had to. I used this as my carry-on when flying instead of my handbag and had the camera with wide angle lens attached, the 100 - 300 lens, 4 batteries, 2 battery chargers, plus my billfold, cell phone and other misc. stuff from my handbag. it was stuffed full but held it all so I was very satisfied with it and I could wear the strap cross body.

Extremely Versitale Bag

This is my everyday camera bag. I have a Lowepro back pack bag that holds all of my equipment, but very seldom do I need ALL of my equipment for what I'm shooting. It's amazing how much this bag holds plus it was designed by people that know their business. It's quality inside and out, what you expect from Lowepro. See below for the only Con that I have with it. Actually this is our second Passport. My wife had to have one too. If she doesn't use it for her camera she takes the foam section out & fills it with all kinds of "junk" & if there's not enough room she unzips the back to get more room. Just a fantastic bag. If there's more than 1 in the family my best advice (to maintain peace) is to buy 2 bags.

Love this Bag

I have lots of camera bags. Which one I use depends on where I'm going, how much equipment I need, etc. But this bag is probably the most useful bag I have. If I just need my camera, a couple of lenses, maybe a flash, batteries, memory cards, as well as my wallet, sunglasses, keys, this is the bag I take. If I need a lot more quipment, I will take a bigger bag but I will often take this bag too. I can keep this bag one me while I am shooting so I can can switch out lenses or what ever I need and leave the heavy bag locked up in the car.
