The water sealed zippers are hard to open if you are in a hurry to catch a great moment. But it is very comfortable and ergonomic. I feel that my gear is really protected. Please note that the DayPack is already included! Another detail, these two big side pockets are accessories (not included). Great purchase!

This pack works great for using on hiking trails.I felt confident that my gear was protected.Due to its size I couldn't use it for a carry-on. I always hike with my tripod and when I got caught in a downpour the raincover wouldn't fit over my tripod so things got wet.

Holds lots of stuff! It is on the heavy side, but you would expect that from a pack that holds so much stuff. I was very surprised how comfortable it is once you put it on your back and attach all of the straps. It comes with a handy extra backpack that is very lightweight that attaches easily to the front of the the pack and still gives access to all of the zippers. Very solid construction.

Great for tons of gear, but for a telephoto zoom lens and another zoom, it's more weight than necessary. Construction and comfort of the pack is outstanding. After I bot this pack I bot the MiniTrekker to ski with my telephoto zoom because the Trekker was too large, too heavy. It DID fit in all the airline carry-ons, though, and it's great for storage and certain trips.

Excellent overall design with many nice features. If you can't fit it in this baby, you've got too much gear for a backpack. With one body and a few lenses, there's plenty of room for a lunch and extra clothing, and the harness is excellent, so it's nice for day hikes. And it has enough room to serve as general storage for your gear when at home. The only downside is that it is a bit heavy all by itself, so if you're not protecting valuable glass, you'd be better off hiking with something else.

A best-selling Trekker AW backpack for outdoor photographers and extreme sports shooters, now completely redesigned with new features, a new appearance and hi-tech materials. This roomy backpack can be customized for a variety of equipment and has the comfort of a sophisticated, fully adjustable harness (upgraded this year) and a quick-adjust waistbelt. An All Weather Cover and revolutionary, water-resistant, quick-access YKK zippers protect your gear. Photo Trekker AW II includes the newly redesigned Trekker DayPack, a side shoulder strap, rubber handle and quick-access Trekker Tripod Mount, to position down the center or on the sides of the pack. Many attachment loops (made of Hypalon, the tough stuff you see on river rafts) let you add optional SlipLock accessories wherever you want them.
Position the quick-release Tripod Mount on either side or down the center of the pack. The vertical position balances the weight for difficult terrain. Lowepro's patented All Weather Cover offers serious protection from weather, sand and dust.
Our new, revolutionary YKK zipper allows quick-access and water-resistance. Easily position optional SlipLock add-ons on the Hypalon attachment loops. Comfort is built into the fully adjustable harness, with CollarCut straps, sternum strap, load adjustment straps and a contoured, padded waistbelt to distribute the load.
