I looked at the 450 and the 350 and found the 450 too bulky for touring around with my gear. This bag is well built and I feel very confident it will protect my gear even if dropped. While there are many dividers provided, none are configurable such that they can be formed(bent to a shape) to accommodate different length lenses and gear. The only formed divider is what supports the camera and while it does the job well, the bag would benefit from one or two others that could function the same way. Additionally, it would be very helpful if there was a pocket on the exterior of the bag, possibly on the front of the shoulder strap, that was large enough for a cellphone. As it is, you either have to carry one in the attachable bag, which is inaccessible when carrying the bag, or in a pocket. The two small pockets which are on the top sides of the bag would benefit by being a little larger as well. Finally, all of the exterior zippers would benefit by having a means of securing the zipper in the zipped position. The three larger zippers are designed with two zippers that the pull loops can be twisted together to aide in keeping them from coming open by themselves. However, the two pockets on the waist belt, as well as the two small pockets on the upper sides only have one zipper pull and no way to keep them from working themselves open and possibly losing gear. While this sounds like a lot of issues, I would recommend this bag for anyone who wasn't interested in carrying every piece of equipment they own around town at once. I packed a full frame DLSR with a 27 to 110mm lens, 100 mm macro, 300mm f4 lens, large speedlight, charger and cord, 13" laptop and sunglasses and had room for two smaller primes. Plenty big for my needs while being significantly smaller than the 450!

I ordered this pack to hike equipment to McAfee Knob. The interior was perfect and adjusted easily to my camera and lenses. But... the pack design fell short in comfort. I was hoping the pack would distribute the weight across my hips (like other packs do) but this design relies on the shoulder straps to handle the load. Maybe the newer model would have been a better choice.

Nice backpack, but somewhat heavy. Intended recipient had difficulty getting a comfortable fit. He didn’t like the feel of the straps. So I had to return it.

My dad bought the 250 and it was a little small for the 5D mark II so I got the 350 and it is perfect! Plenty of room for all my needs! And amazing build quality. No problems when on my motorcycle either. I would not suggest using it on a motorcycle in the rain but besides that should be perfect!

The bag offers a great deal of flexibility in the configuration of the interior. I have a D500 with a 70-200 lens and I can access this from the side pocket with the opposite shoulder strap still on my body. However, I am not able to have a vertical grip attached. This will only fit with access from the back panel. Also, with an iPad Pro in the pocket, the camera will not fit with the vertical grip. Too much pressure on the iPad and camera. I do not see this as a issue based on the more than ample storage for the grip removed alone with other lenses, batteries, cables, iPad and the like you would use on a day hike. Very good bag for the price.

I love how customizable this bag is! It comes with a ton of inserts so you can get everything just how you like it. The MOLLE loops are great because you can attach pretty much anything you want to the outside of the bag.

Great bag. Perfectly fits the equipment I frequently travel with, which includes a laptop, canon dslr with 24-105mm attached, additional lens (85mm or 35mm), speedlite and modifier.

To overuse an expression this bag is "tactical: I love the removable pouches and tripod mounts. Really exactly what I was looking for: a bag that could be stripped down if I'm just going to a friends house but I can trick out for outdoor landscape excursions. The build is solid and it's comfortable to wear. I'm really happy with the purchase.

I’ve had lots of camera bags over the last 30 years and this has been my favorite so far. It has the most customizable interior, most useful arrangement of pockets and the quality is top notch! One of my best purchases. Love it. ROBERT

Well made bag to hold two DSLR cameras with lenses for my travel/photo needs. Because there is a newer model available (350 AW II), this original model is priced much lower. The minor changes in the newer model wasn't significant enough for me to pay the price difference. A lot of dividers are provided, so you can customize the bag to your liking and to provide cushioning for your equipment. Also, the weather covering built into the bag for those unexpected wet outings are a welcomed feature. A good buy!!

I don’t have a ton to say about this bag. The 3 main things I was looking for when purchasing this bag was; rigid (doesn’t collapse when full and standing upright), a lot of space/compartments (it has several extra spacers, lots of pockets and plenty of room for 2 cameras and a few lenses for each), ability to store 1 or more pro bodies. No complaints so far, sturdy, well crafted, MOLLE for extra bags if you need that sort of thing. The top of the bag has a hard shell with a small zipper pocket inside. I’ve had several bags that I hated after a few days. I’d buy more of this if I had a use for it.

The best backpack ever. It is made of heavy duty construction that will get you through every trip through the woods and up the mountain trails. This backpack will fit perfert and comfortable to your body. You have a custom fit for your lens, laptop, equipment, and camera with lens. Side and top compartments give you easy access to your camera with lens. This one of the best camera backpacks made to secure all your equipment and keep it safe along with less stress on your back.

As photographers/videographer we are constantly on the go looking for that perfect bag that will fit all our gear and make our lives a little easier. This bag has been the one for me! Great looks, portability, lots and lots of storage room for my equipment, and even customizable to fit your perfect needs! Adorama did a great job sending this over to me. Fast and everything in perfect condition! Thank you guys and I strongly recommend it to any photographer looking to get a new bag!

Well made bag with many options to customize exterior additions. Will hold a 100-400mm lens across the bottom of the compartment, but not with a DSLR body attached. My one complaint is the two major vertical dividers may interfere withe the two side access openings if you want a longer lens attached to the camera in the top of the bad.Note, this is the original ProTactic 350, not the new model which is much more expensive.

I purchased this bag to handle carrying more gear and this does just that. I take photos at my grandson's high school baseball games, grand daughters basketball, and many family outings and vacations. I use a full frame Canon D6 Mark ii and a crop sensor canon T5i, Sigma 150-600, Sigma 1.4 50mm, Tamron 70-200 2.8, 18-70 2.8, Canon 24-104 4.0L, a speedlight flash, filters, batteries and cards. This easily holds it all. Sturdy and comfortable. feels heavy when picking it up, but comfortable on the back. Glad I made the purchase. Came quick.

This is the best camera bag that I’ve had and I’ve owned a few. It is well built and easily holds 5-7 lenses and a couple of mirrorless bodies.

Bag is well built and has a lot of options for laying it out. Comes with a variety of features that a lot of bags seem to not include. My only issue is the top opening is a little tight to pull a camera in and out and the use of the side openings cannot be used depending on the layout, but overall still a great bag. Trying to figure out a variety of arrangements to get the most out of it.

I like the depth of the bag as it can hold a pro body with battery pack very easily. Am still getting used to the inside arrangmentof the compartments. Probably will not use the entrances on thesides to remove equipment. I like the zippers going all the downto prevent the outside flap from falling down. I like the removablewaist belt so I can use for other equipment. Not owning for verylong, 2 weeks, I will be getting used to it. overall bag is wellconstructed, from good material and should last a long time. Alllowepro bags and packs I have owned, have served me well.

It’s a great camera bag. It was much larger and deeper than I thought it would be. I look forward to using it. I can carry all my gear in one bag.

I had a problem finding a backpack that would work with my 2 nikon bodies With grips! It makes a Huge difference in what will work and what won't. 10 years ago you never had a problem. I had to return two different bags due to the depth issues I can't get 8 lenses in my bag even with 2 of them stacked on top of each other but.... I do have a 70-200mm 2.8 in the bag but can't fit the hood. And in order to get my long lens and flash in the bag my second body can't have a lens mounted. Which is a take away for the quick access openings. The 70-200 blocks one and the flashes block the other side opening. I don't like the waist strap for normal use. it just gets in the way. Now, If I were actually going on a multi-day hike with all this stuff it might be ok. My tablet doesn't fit either and it is 15". Personally I am having to buy several pouches for the exterior for little things that I use often like filters, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love LowePro bags and this is my 4th. I just expect a little more from them with this price tag.

Very versatile little bag, just have a few nits to pick
By ERIC S.
This is an impressive little bag -- very adaptable to a variety of use cases, and solidly built. I like that I can use the top of the bag for photo gear, or not. I also am warming up to the rear entry scheme, although this is my first bag built that way (even if I don't often access my gear this way, it's a super-fast way to load up before a trip). The bag comes with a ridiculous (in a good way...) number of velcro dividers, so you can organize its internal space in all sorts of ways. The out...
