I have bought 3 of these now....plus the baby brother (100) and they are not ony great on belts but I attach them to my bags for more storage room. Perfect and well made!

Does the job WELL!

Fits my Canon ef 70-200mm f/2.8 ii is usm lens like a glove! Very sturdy on the belt and super convenient when needing to change a lens on the fly. Pro tip: put your lens hood on backwards for storing inside the pouch!

Love this case to store my lens. Easy to use with handles and zippers. 

Great lens case!

This goes beyond the standard lens case.  It's part of Lowepro's Street and Field system which allows you to carry a ton of equipment on a belt or vest (at a hefty price once you buy all the pieces). The interior of the case has two pockets allowing you easily swap lenses (see video).  Might be good if all you carry is this lens case and your camera.  Also would be good if you buy into the whole S&F system (you'll either look like a pro or a total camera geek).  The system might be good for photojournalists, event photographers and such.  If you're just looking for a lens case, there are cheaper and less bulky alternatives.  Fits a 200mm F2.8 lens.

I am a professional concert photographer and carrying my rig in a big bag was playing hell on my back as it was like carrying an extra person. I saw this along with the tactical belt by Lowepro an decided to give it a whirl. What a difference it makes in switching between my 24-70 and 70-200 lenses. 

I am probably going to get the smaller version (100 AW) to carry my 50mm to switch around with the 24-70.

Freaking Love It

At first I didn't grasp the concept of the bag but now use it daily. It makes it easy to carry camera and one lens. The bag allows you to remove lens off of your camera and put it into bag while other one is still in it. Then you can remove 2nd lens and put it onto camera. Love it!

Great Bag

This bag is excellent for carrying a large 70-200 lens. The bag opens and closes with ease and the exchange design works well for me. It takes a little time to get used to exchanging lenses while using it with the strap versus a belt but once I got the hang of it has worked smoothly for me. I use this as a light weight solution with the Lowepro 50 AW II top-loader camera bag. The only thing that would improve the bag is making the mesh pouch on the sides deeper so I could carry an off-camera flash with it.

This product does exactly what it states without the bulk. I am still fumbling with the lens exchange pocket thing as it kinda gets folded up in the bag so you have to fiddle with it a little. Gets a little cumbersome with one hand.

Good Lens Case

This case fits my Tamron 70-200 F 2.8 perfectly. It also fits great on my Lowepro Toploader, and I tested  it this past weekend when I had to rapidly change lenses to get a nature closeup. It will really be put to the test in the Rain Forests of Costa Rica in three weeks.

Great Addition to My System

This is the second 200AW case I bought. Solid, durable and great for changing lens especially for jobs when I'm on the move and swapping lenses.

I love the exchange idea, this case is well designed and it works just as it's supposed to.

Excellent idea

Purchased this item so when I went hiking  or walking and wanted to travel light.Camera and a couple of lenses.I wouldn't need a sholder bag or several cases on a wastebelt.It has worked for why I purchased it.I like not having to set a lens down esp.in the woods to change lenses.I have carried a mix of either a Tamron 70-300VC and a Canon 100 macro or a 17-40 wide angle without the hood.

Good for traveling light

Exchange case does what it is made for (claims). It works well with a f2.8 zoom lens, with hood. Lens is not in danger of falling out even if I didn't get it all the way in.

Does what is designed to do

I have had this product for about 8 months and it gets almost daily use, mostly outdoors. It has even been left out on the deck a few times and thank goodness survived and protected the contents. 

I mostly shoot macro in the gardens or telephoto of birds, so this case usually holds either a Nikon 105 macro or a Nikon 300 zoom. Both are fairly hefty lenses and this case handles them well. I use the outside pockets for extra batteries and lens cap. I keep a few filters strapped to it in a "FISHBOMB CASE" also from Adorama. 

I also stash some little accessories along the inside side (remote, eye piece, etc), but... be aware that this area is open when the case is fully open. (see suggestions below). And lastly I stash a folded camera rain guard along the other inside side.

BOTTOM LINE: If you want to travel light but need two lenses, think this case over... I just grab this case, my camera (in a lightweight cover "sleeve"), and I am out the door with everything I really need. If this case ever gives out I will be running to find a replacement ASAP. 

Would like to see:

1. some small inside pockets along side, or zipped outside - something secure - hate replacing that remote again! 
2. perhaps some different sizes - current size is great for me right now - though I think I am pushing the weight limit, but I can see as one reviewer mentioned where is you are using smaller lenses it would be a bit too tall.

LOVE IT - travel light

This case is just what you need for changing lenses out in the field... It clips on my belt with a VERY strong and secure velcro loop and makes it safe and easy to change a lens without having to fumble around and possibly drop one of the lenses or your camera body... One of the smartest purchases I've made...!

My Nikon 55mm to 300mm lens fits great.  Easy to use changing lens.  Beats carrying my large bag when all I want to carry is my 18mm-55mm lens and 55mm-300mm lens.

Great Product

I picked this case up with a few other S&F products. The design was very interesting on paper, and I was excited to try it out. I can report that for street work, weddings, and just about anywhere you need extreme versatility (even in bad weather), this thing works wonders! It's a simple concept that's been executed quite well. The bag really does let me switch out a 70-200 2.8 with a prime, or other zoom without the need to set a lens down, or have more cases that barely get used. It really does let you put one lens in with a second lens already in the case, then pull out that second lens. Genius.

BUT - I will say that it's a pretty extreme case. What I mean is, that you will find swapping between a 70-200 2.8 and a small prime can be a little tricky since the 70-200 fits pretty snug with the hood on, albeit not impossible, but then getting that prime way down in the bag can be cumbersome at times. Not a big deal really though, as a lot of people will be switching between two zooms often. They should make a smaller version of this case for anyone using primes. Again, for weddings and street work - this is a life saver in that I don't have to have more bags, or risk setting a lens down on the ground, a table, etc.
