I have a total of four of these batteries. The first two I bought about a year after buying my Canon 10D. I am still using them to this day in my 10D & 30D. I used them for astrophotography and I needed extra batteries because of the long exposures.

Had this battery since August 2007, and it's still going strong. Even better than the original Canon battery that came with my camera, and is showing signs of being near the end of it's useful life.

This battery does not compare to a OEM canon. If you want long capacity do not buy this battery. I don't get half the amount of time on this battery when compared to the original Canon battery. Spend the extra money on a Canon battery.[...]

This battery damaged my 8G Extreme 4 CF card and played havoc with the display of my camera. This only happened with this battery and not with a regular Canon battery. My CF card was no longer accessible and over 300 pictures were gone. The card was analyzed by Sandisk and replaced. Do not try to save monies by buying this questionable product - I certainly won't again.

Great batteries: reliable, travel well, long-lasting. I just used these on my travels in France and they lasted far longer (in my Canon 40D) than my Canon batteries. I highly recommend these batteries!

I made the mistake of thinking all Canon DSLRs used the same batteries - they don't. I bought two of these. I think I'll just hold onto them until I have a camera they work in though (or give them to somebody who has the right camera), because they seem fine (and I know people who have had a lot of luck with these, and they're dirt cheap - I got mine on sale for [$]each).

For a generic brand, the quality is easily equal to the name brand. The mha rating was slightly lower, but I got four for less than I would have paid for one name brand. This way I always have two for the camera and two as backup on hand. This was a great buy.

I number all of my batteries and can tell when a particular battery begins to loose its capacity to hold a charge. I have found that these batteries are as good as or better than the batteries I get from the manufacturer of the camera

This battery does what it is supposed to do...provide good stable power for your camera. I have had no problems with this battery and would recommend it to anyone.

For the discount price it really beats the full price for the canon brand. If you are going on vacation you need at least one back up.
