Purchased in June 2024, and it's obvious why this product only comes with a one?year warranty-it didn't even survive two years before moisture leaked into the lens and completely ruined the video quality. The camera is now useless. Customer support was equally bad: no accountability, no discount on a replacement, and they couldn't even be bothered to waive the $10 shipping fee. Overall, a cheaply made product backed by unhelpful customer service.

I love my Lorex system, including the Video Doorbell. But I have to say that this doorbell was a replacement after my 1st doorbell camera had moisture on the inside of the lens. Because it was out of warranty, my only option was to replace it. Because I have an 8 camera system that has worked well for nearly 6 years, I just had to go back to what I had. Overall Lorex has great products, was just disappointed that the doorbell was not better designed to prevent moisture from getting on the inside of the lens.

Picture is crystal clear and the app for the most part is very easy to use. But that's about all that I like so far. I didn't realize that this doorbell does not have 24/7 continuous recording when I bought it. I just kind of assumed that since it had a SD Card slot, the option for continuous recording was available. I guess that's more my fault since I made an assumption that this doorbell had a feature that most other doorbells with an SD Card slot has. Also the notifications are hit and miss with a lot more misses than hits. I'm getting maybe 1 out of every 4 motion/person event notifications no matter what kind of sensitivity settings I've got. And I guess person detection takes precedence over motion events since the doorbell doesn't turn on the night light when I walk by it at night. But if i check the timeline, I see that it recorded me walking by the camera and never sent a notification. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it's been frustrating to learn about the shortcomings. I'm starting to regret changing to this doorbell instead of just buying the same brand I used previously.

In addition to the Fusion 4k NVR and phone ordered direct from Lorex , I also ordered a Lorex Chime from Amazon. I called customer support on the morning of (I believe) 3/26/26 with questions about the configuration of the Chime, phone, and Fusion 4K. I was met with a voice that sounded annoyed, short, and disinterested. He asked questions like he was reading from a bulleted list. I could not find a device ID right away, which really seemed to test his patience. The encounter convinced me that I would rather research the information on my own than suffer through another minute with this clearly annoyed individual on the other end of the line. If you truly record your calls, you have an excellent example of how not to respond to a customer's support call. This encounter does not deserve a rating, as even a 1 star would indicate some small redeeming quality. I am attempting to complete the installation on my own, if I cannot, you are getting it back; largely because this singular encounter makes me so angry to think about it.

I DO NOt RECOMMEND, this camere was purchased july 3 2023 and didint last til 03/03/2026 before the internal battery that drives the in house ringer went bad. then your interior door bell stops responding. I CALLED COMPLAINED AND WAS TOLD TOO BAD SO SAD BUY ANOTHER. SO REMEMBER THEY ONLY LAST ABOUT 3 YEARS AND ITS TRASH CAUSE YOU CANNOT REPLACE THE BATTERY SO EASY. I AM SO UNSATISFIED

I'm using it for 2+ y. Pi's of junk. 2k quality is no better than SH. Notifications always late. The bell works sometimes. Notifications when someone push bell bottom comes late and camera may not work properly. The support can do nothing.

instillation was nearly impossible on my brick outside my house. Also by the time it says someone is at my door and i immediately pull it up the person is gone? Sometimes it say uh ! Something went wrong! This frustrates me. What's the point if I can't catch someone in action!?

The first Lorex 2K WI-FI Video doorbell worked for about two years and then broke down. Since I had purchased a 3-year warranty, I replaced the doorbell with a new one. So far, it's working well.

Unit has plenty of storage, sound is great. Installation was easy to preform and setup was a breeze. I am able to hear clearly anyone at the door though the doorbell cam. My voice is also clear and understandable.

The picture is very dark with limited color. I had a ring doorbell that provided a much better view that could determine a persons features. I'm thinking about going back to the ring doorbell. I do like the alert system on Lorex better than the ring unit.

I literally can't think of a worse system. I can't even put all the terrible aspects of this into words. The app, reliability, support, everything has issues which renders the system and functionality practically useless. I'm really bummed I spent so much money on this.

It was good until it just stop functioning properly. Our door bell no long rings when the button is pushed. I've gone back to the regular default doorbell that came with the house. The camera was going in an out and I kept getting a "Fail to load" message for the storage. The door would get hot often as well.

Big Lorex fan. Have had the 2 K wired for several years then stopped working. Replacement will not connect to the WiFi. I have followed all steps from Lorex and it will still not connect. Would love to hear a solution from you.

For the last 6 months the doorbell would disconnect every 2-4 weeks. It would NEVER connect on the first try. I would try & connect it 3 or 4x, give up. Try again 3 or 4x the next day, give up. Same on the 3rd day. It would connect on the 2nd or 3rd day then disconnect again 2-4 weeks later and the cycle would repeat. 2 night ago I started the process & the thing was so hot I couldn't hold it for more than a few seconds. Turned it off & came back to it the next day and it wont power up. Called lorex, they won't replace it. I have the exact same doorbell installed on another door with a different xfmer & no issues. I'm 3k into my lorex setup & now need to look into replacements. Lorex is so janky, there product support search on the website leads to dead ends. Just now when posting this review I noticed you have to agree to terms & conditions to post so I clicked to see what that could be, not found lol. Story of Loex's website. But don't take my word for it, check reddit & see for yourself.

Bought 2 door bells and flood light. Door bell in front gets a lot of use with people walking after 3 years video became clouding not because lense dirty had to replace. No reason why ???

Unfortunately, this unit was not compatible with our Wi-Fi Internet from Verizon. I had a case with the technician. After more than an hour of trying different things, he researched and found that the camera did not support WPA3, the new newest security protocol for Wi-Fi. I had to return the unit and the three year warranty and I am waiting for the credit to my account. I have a 4K camera at a different location with different Internet service and it works great. Thank you.

Had to replace the transformer. After that it worked for a while. Now forget it. Still won't work and the chime kit failed. Suppoert said sorry out of warranty. Tried everything tech said did it still won't stay working. The whole reason I bought it was to replace existing hardwired doorbell.
