After over a dozen attempts
After over a dozen attempts to pair with the app, an hour on the phone with customer service and adjusting the router I had to return th cameras.

Too much trouble, not worth
Too much trouble, not worth the cost. Won't stay connected to internet and won't connect to Lorex Home device. Won't record as described. Records 10seconds at a time even when settings are changed to 5 minutes.

I really enjoy and like
I really enjoy and like Lorex products and have been expanding the many we already own. I even have replaced my Arlo systems with Lorex because I find their cameras, software and speed is so much better. However, I will say, the wif-fi connectivity of the doorbell is not near as strong or reliable as my other wireless Lorex cameras. My other Lorex WiFi cameras are nearly instant when viewing and interacting, but the Doorbell simply is not as reliable or as speedy. I've tested it and a different wireless Lorex camera side by side and my other Lorex Wifi cameras are still very good and the doorbell connection just does not appear to be as powerful or reliable.

Picture quality is excellent. Very easy to set up. But not as reliable as our PTZ wi-fi cams. The problems are that this battery cam misses a lot of the front porch deliveries and doesn't alert us to people or motion much of the time. It is only 15 feet from the nearest of our mesh routers. It seems to have trouble waking up after no activity for a while. Also some trouble staying connected to the NVR.

Poor battery life
The quality of the camera is good and gives a clear picture, the battery however does not last very long at all. I have person and vehicle detection turned off so it only records if someone walks upto the door. If the doorbell camera didn't have the ability to be hardwired for power I would have returned the camera.

doorbell is only 12 feet
doorbell is only 12 feet from Wi-Fi modem but will only connect about half the time. not very reliable. when it does connect it is very good picture .

Sometimes the device won't let
Sometimes the device won't let me view the live stream. I think the device connection to the internet is sometimes intermittent which is not a product of my internet coverage.

Lorex Doorbell
I have been buying Lorex products for many years and this was the first problem I have had with the company. The lorex doorbell was a great product at first, had no problems. After 9 months though, moisture had developed inside the camera. This created a blurry image that was unrecognizable. We spent 4 hours with customer service going thru the troubleshooting and steps to fix it. After that we were informed that they would not cover this under any warranty. We are very disappointed with this product and the company. I will not be recommending them in the furture. For anyone buying lorex products, I would be very aware of where you are putting these cameras and the elements it will be under.

It's nice. But I'm not crazy about it. I was hoping to record 24/7 and be able to zoom in. But I understand it is a doorbell camera.

Works well enough.
Works well. Great picture. had no issue pairing with Wi-Fi that said it can be laggy when trying to review footage or even login to see live view, maybe my router isn't close enough. At least I'm not forced to pay for a subscription

Device won't stay on.
Called tech support and they tried to find every excuse and find me at fault. They were helpful in the fact that they gave me troubleshooting ideas but seems like they just didn't want to accept that it was a faulty device.

You are on your own. Tech support is worthless
I was never able to get this doorbell working. I have used many lorex products in the past with no issue. But this doorbell would not work. My first call to tech support they told me I wasn't using a good enough charger to charge the doorbell. So I charged it for two additional days using a better charger. The second call to tech support they wanted to escalate it even though it's a defective device. I asked for a replacement and they would not honor that request. I was forced to ask for a refund

Needs improvement
The motion sensor is terrible. And the delay is unbelievable. The app never opens when i gets notifications. It is terrible. Please i need help to fix it i don't want go back to ring

Good, when it works
My video doorbell only works half of the time. It constantly disconnects from the home wi-fi network. The previous unit did the same thing, but Lorex took that one back.

Cameras don't work
Have had two sent to me and neither work. Spent almost three hours trying to trouble shoot between the two devices. Asked for a supervisor on the phone and by email and still haven't heard from one. Disappointed hopefully I can get some help

Doorbell review
The product works well and does exactly what I need it to do. My biggest complaint was the difficulty in giving multiple users access to the doorbell functions. I would think that would be very common with your users but there was nothing in the start-up guide about how to set that up. The online user guide had information but it was confusing. I had to call user support (very helpful, BTW) to get things resolved.

Stand alone only!
It works but its incredibly disappointing to learn that it's incompatible with the Lorex NVRs. I assumed that when wiring the doorbell power it would be capable of always on and just use battery in case of a power outage.
Don't buy this unless you are planning on using it stand alone.
