Easy To Use

This system replaced my other Lorex set up, I had it for over 10 years. The upgrade WITH all the cameras really makes this a great setup to purchase. If you are going to put in a security system, this is the one to get. I have 16 cameras around my home, there isn't a thing that moves, that I don't see on my office monitor.

Purchase of replacement DVR

It is an upgrade to the previous DVR replacement, without incurring additional costs and changing of wires in the attic. I am pleased with the purchase. thanks to the sales team that assisted me in selecting this replacement unit. I have been with Lorex for over 10 years, and I really like their products and technical assistance.

Very Nice

I thought my old one was broken but I got it going again after I bought this new replacement DVR with mouse. It's perfect. I just gave away my old one to family. It updates automatically, nicer interface the price was decent, and all my previously installed cameras blended into the new DVR flawlessly. I've always liked these affordable DVR Lorex cameras systems. Back in the day they were thousands of dollars. What more could I say.

Over the years, I've owned several camera systems for my business. This one is quite intuitive to set up. My only complaint is the adjustment on the cameras being set screws and a little cumbersome at times - you get the hang of it after a bit - I'd like to see a ball joint for adjustments, but this one does the trick eventually (let's face it, they're only being set up once). The video quality is top notch and the night vision is better than expected. Ran great out of the box with the exception of one wire which would have been annoying if I didn't have an extra, but I had an extra, so it wasn't that big of a deal. I'll eventually talk to customer service and see if I can get the wire replaced - I will update the review if I have a poor experience there, but I expect no issues - let's leave that part of it as no news is good news.

I researched many systems before purchasing this unit. I wanted a long-term solution for home surveillance that I did not have to rely on cloud technology for. All components of the system are quality. The only feedback I have it the quality of the CAT5 cables - they are thin and feel like that are not going to last long. However, the weatherproof connection at the end of the cable is a great feature! I ran the cables in a way that will allow for simple replacement if/when they fail over time. The video quality of outstanding! The system itself has been easy to use, but there are a few settings that I will need to refer to YouTube for guidance on. Spend the money and invest in this system for your home or office immediately.
