This 8MP camera offers four times the resolution of standard HD 1080p, delivering crystal clear images with a resolution of 3840x2160. The Smart Motion Detection Plus feature offers the option of either Face Detection or Person and Vehicle Detection, limiting motion detection notifications to only when a face, person, or vehicle is detected. This innovative feature effectively reduces unwanted false alerts caused by moving branches or animals, ensuring you only receive relevant notifications.
The Smart Deterrence feature includes a warning light and three remote-activated sirens designed to ward off uninvited guests. The warning light can be scheduled or programmed to illuminate when a person or vehicle is detected, adding an extra layer of security.
The camera also features a built-in mic and speaker for 2-way communication, allowing you to listen and speak to visitors. Enhanced 2-way talk with Quick Response Messages lets you pre-record specific messages with your own voice using the Lorex Home app.
The Safeguard feature allows you to set up to three areas to monitor for items left behind or removed, such as packages or other items of value. This camera also features revolutionary Color Night Vision (CNV) technology, which produces full-color video with the help of external lighting around the camera. In regular nighttime conditions that are too dark for CNV, the camera will use its infrared LEDs to record crisp black and white video footage up to 150ft away and up to 98ft in complete darkness.
The camera utilizes High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) to compress video file sizes without any noticeable difference in quality, saving you hard drive space. The easy PoE installation requires only a single Cat5e ethernet cable to connect it to a compatible NVR for video, power, and a stable network connection.
Built for the outdoors, this camera is designed to withstand the harsh impacts of nature. It has an IP67 rating, our highest weatherproof rating, and a durable, all-metal housing for added protection.
