I have had this camera mounted in my basement for over one year. No problems, and the ability to pan and tilt and look at the entire basement is awesome. Great camera!

Bought this product and within seven months the thing stopped working. Paid like over $135 for it and cant even return it. Nothing but a waste of money so go with another product or even better another web site

I couldn't be happier with my new camera. I use it to coach my 94-year-old father on how to take his medications. Already, and in the last two days, this camera has saved me from traveling 60 miles. Thank you Lorex!

I got this last year to use as a baby camera and it works great. I travel a lot and can talk to my grandson via the camera to say good morning or night when he goes to bed. Night vision works great.

I ordered these cameras to keep an eye on my children in my 3 level townhouse, with my 8 yr old being in the finished basement and our 6 month old in the nursery.
Being able to pull up a live stream and full control from work or where ever and being able to talk to them on demand, makes these cameras fantastic!!
the video quality is great, just remember to adjust your bandwidth, and the motors in the pan and tilt are dead silent.
I have had many other brands of cameras before, spending the money on the Lorex brand was the best decision i made.
than you Lorex for helping me keep an eye on my children anywhere and everywhere!
I recommend you buy these cameras!

I actually purchased this because I wanted to see what my dog was doing during the day while I'm at work. This is a great security system. Thus far I've had no problems with it and it's very clear. I also like the fact that I can move this camera around if I choose to do so. So with that said I plan on purchasing a second camera. Great investment!!

do not pay for three shipping i paid for it and did not receive in three days. I've order twice with them and the first order was fine, ordered on 4-22-16 and received on 4-26-16. this order i ordered on 8-2-16 and have not received it yet 8-9-16 i hope this company reads there reviews, i always thought when it says three day shipping 52 dollars it meant three day shipping not 8 or 10 days very disappointed in there shipping policies. don't get me wrong the product is great i love it i give the 5 stars im giving the sales/shipping the rating

So far, I'm loving this product. It replaced a Dropcam camera that seems to have gotten lost or misplaced during our recent move. I decided to purchase this for a number of reasons - first, I already own an 8-camera Lorex system that I purchased for security around our new house. It's been working great and has been extremely reliable. Secondly, I wanted a camera that I could pan and tilt with without having to spend an arm and a leg. This one does that and also provides for 2-way audio along with a built-in alarm. For the price this system can't be beat.
My Dropcam setup was very easy. With that said, I have to say that the setup for this camera is even easier. I originally set it up using the enclosed Ethernet cable. Once that was working I reset the camera for WiFi since I'm placing the camera at a location without a CAT6 drop. The instructions couldn't have been easier and literally took less than a minute to get up and running on my network. The Ping software also works perfectly.
The only negative thus far is the L-View software which does not work on the Mac with the latest version of OS X (El Capitan). I've contacted tech support about the issue and I'm waiting to hear back from them. Overall though the resolution of the camera is excellent, both during the day and at night, and I'm very happy with the Ping software. I should downgrade this review by one star because of the L-View software, but in the past Lorex has been very responsive to other software issues that I've had so we'll keep it at 5 stars for now.

Good daytime resolution. Night vision is not very clear. Wish that the L-View software made it easier to batch delete files but I guess the loop recording takes care of that. Over all for the price a great security camera. Very easy to setup on phone, tablet and pc.
