This dome cam work perfect. I put it in ceiling of my front door house 3.4mm lens is perfect fr this location. For the cam price & 1080P picture clear good compare to high price cam.

I first purchased a 7 camera system with an 8 channel NVR. I was very happy with the system so I had to get one more camera to use all 8 channels. One problem was when you have all 8 the built in network in the NVR can't handle the bandwidth of all 8 cameras on 30 frames/second at highest video quality so you need to knock it down to 15-18fps and medium to higher quality on some of the cameras. Not all of them. They still are recording at 1920x1080 but lower frames / second and more compression at medium/higher quality rather than highest quality.

Cameras are working well. Customer service takes for ever to respond (if they do) and it is worthless. Mobile apps are worthless as well.

I first purchased a 6 camera system with a 8 channel DVR. I was very happy with the system so I had to get two more cameras to use all 8 channels of the DVR. Both cameras came right up on the system and worked perfectly. I really like this system for the cost. Only things I would like to see that the system does not have is, two way audio, external triggers (like a security alarm) to start recordings, and a PTZ camera that is compatible with NVR380 system. But the features the system DOES have work perfectly.

I have found the camera to perform the past year of use as advertised. Clarity of the field of view is excellent both day and night. I had one problem with another camera but Lorex replaced it quickly and without any push back.
I have recommended this product and the Lorex system to others.

Received this camera as a warranty replacement (see Nov 6 review). Camera installed without a hitch and is providing excellent color day image and infrared night image. Fingers crossed that it holds up. Four stars for the reasons reflected in my May 19 review.

Received this camera as a warranty replacement. Previous camera failed at night vision. No hassle on getting a replacement from Lorex. It took a couple of weeks for the replacement to arrive. The replacement camera has a habit of dropping the connection several times a day. Sometimes it comes back on itself; sometimes it requires a reboot of the DVR. Will be writing up a new ticket to get a replacement. When the camera is working it delivers high quality pictures.

I purchased a pair of these cameras for mounting outside. Installation was uneventful. However I would also recommend that you check side-to-side camera movement BEFORE you drill mounting holes. I gave 4 stars because the up-down tilt range of the camera is not the greatest. Still, both daytime and nighttime picture quality is very good. Great color in the daytime, good black and white contrast at night. IR attracts bugs at night so all my motion events so far have been fly-bys. After a week or so in operation, I also got some fogging at night. I used an anti-fog (Rain-X) on the inside of the dome glass and so far it has eliminated this (keep knocking on wood). Anyway, it's fall and we will see how these cameras deal with the Northern Michigan winters.

I've had these cameras for about 9 months now and no problems. I love the picture of the 1080 cameras, even at night. Everyone is impressed with the clarity of the picture. This system is well worth the money. I haven't noticed any blurriness of the picture and the night vision is wonderful. I really bought the system to be able to see the outside during the day, but the security function, even over the internet, is great. I have these cameras going into a
TV above my computer and I watch them constantly.

The only drawback is the adjustment range of the camera is limited especially when trying to tilt downward. You also need to pay attention to the rotation adjustment before drilling the mounting holes. Recommend that you dry lab the mounting before drilling. Note that this camera is for ceiling mount only

I ordered and installed 8 of these Dome HD IP cameras with the netHD LNR 200 series. These cameras are so easy to install and work perfectly without hardly any adjustments. They have all been in operation for almost 3 months solid. I had a problem with the LNR 200 series unit and Lorex replaced the unit with a new 380 LNR which is at least as good as the LNR 200. I highly recommend purchasing directly from Lorex for best pricing and they have a quality service department that seems to be very knowledgeable of my equipment.
I wouldn't be fair if I didn't give Lorex a 5 star rating. Once I got all the dome cameras installed and replaced the LNR 200, It couldn't be any better.

Just added my last camera to my eight camera system. As with all the other installs, this one went smoothly, I have been very impressed with the build quality of the camera. I have been less impressed with the quality of the mounting screws provided; they do not hold up well when tightening them down the heads quickly loose their shape. Be careful when tightening. Highly recommend this product, but rated it 4 out of 5 for screw quality.

I installed 8 of these cameras with the LNR200 series NVR. These are located around the exterior of the house to provide protection. Since we live in the country there is no ambient light during evening hours. These cameras have excellent clarity during the day light but during the evening there is a cloudy appearance around the peripheral narrowing the focus of the camera. That being said I am confident the camera recording of anyone within 20 to 30 feet during total darkness would be identifiable. I would not hesitate to purchase these cameras in the future. Overall a great product.

This product is very easy to install and the resolution is wonderful. It helps with PoE feature where you don't have to deal with running (2) separate cables (power and ethernet) to the camera. It also looks good whether you have it installed inside or outdoor. Highly recommended.

These cameras are super easy and fast to set up... the software can get a little tricky as there are many menus to learn but it's not to bad.
I am not yet convinced of the motion detection... it is very sensitive because it goes off constantly. I may have ghosts in the house if they are working properly because they have gone of every 5min.
Other then that... the quality of the viedo, ease of set up and use is great. I hope they last.

I purchased two of these one, it works great and the other is a dud. I am now on my 3rd replacement of the power supply adapter. It isn't much help when your surveillance system fails when you are out of town. Please know that at night this camera only covers about 25-30 feet with its leds. Lorex customer service is excellent and is sending a replacement. The product is very easy to install.
