Great cameras 360's that are professional grade. Must have addition, with the ability to listen in, zoom and pan. Perfect for areas that have many blind spots which you would like to actively monitor different areas of without installing multiple cameras. Quality is outstanding so is the customer service.

I replaced one of the standard 1080P cameras on my system with this pan & tilt camera because I wanted audio pickup. Installation is simple and quick: plug in a cat5 or cat6 cable into the camera and NVR and it's working. This is not a night vision camera with IR lights, so relies on ambient light for night images. That said, it does a reasonable job as long as some light is present. Controlling the camera with the mouse can be difficult to get used to. Camera has fixed stops so one cannot set the tilt exactly as desired. Similarly, panning goes to fixed stops as well. I would have preferred more flexibility. Audio is OK. The microphone picks up road and wind noise so some voice recordings are difficult to hear. The camera is mounted above the front door, and visitors' voices are clear and loud. One caution on audio: I use this camera with a NVR1180. The only way one can hear the audio recording is by having the NVR connected to a monitor which has built-in speakers, using a HDMI cable. There is no other audio output connector on the 110 series recorders.

IN RESPONSE TO IZ on September 11, 2017 in Location: Saskatachewan, Canada The fix for not being able to see the PTZ cams when in 4 , 8, or 16 view is very simple. If you open the PC Interface, select SETUP tab, then on-the-left open CAMERA SETTING, then REMOTE DEVICE, this will display all cameras connected. Go to the channel-line that has the PTZ on it and Click on the PENCIL symbol (for Modify) and another window will open. Change the PROTOCOL field to ONVIF and click OK THAT'S IT, you're all done! NOTE: when you bring up multiple cameras now, there may be a slight delay on the square that has the PTZ Camera(s) but it will come up. Hope that helps. This is also an issue with Android app until you make this modification. p.s. I also don't like NOT having the ability to micro-adjust Panning or Tilting (re your 'fine tune' notation)

I love the ability to move the camera around and also listen in on what is going on. The resolution is exactly as advertised. The one thing that I didn't realize when I first bought the camera is that isn't don't have true night vision. That is the only thing I really wish was different about this camera. Other than that, it is perfect for my needs.

I purchased this camera to use with the LN10804-86 system in order to have an ability to record audio. The installation was pretty straightforward, but the manual did not include instructions on how to use the wall mount bracket. The online manual got closer, but it appears that the mounting hardware has been updated/changed so the installation manual doesn't quite cover things accurately. It works really well with the NVR. The pan and tilt functions seem to work on fixed intervals so you're not actually able to fine tune the direction of the camera. But this isn't too big of an issue. The bigger problem is that when viewing this camera feed with the other cameras on the grid display of the NVR, you get no preview. Clicking on the feed opens the channel in full screen and video can be seen, but back in the multi-channel view, this channel shows up black. Also, I haven't been able to figure out how to hear the audio via the remote application. Audio can be heard when the camera is in full screen mode on the NVR, but not so on the app. I will be most curious to find out how this camera holds up to the cold temperatures in the winter. I would have given a five star rating, but due to the preview issues on the NVR, issue with the audio on the remote app, and the incorrect installation instructions, this gets four stars.

Works great on my computer, and phone, but on the monitor hooked up to the NVR I can only view the camera when it is in the main screen. I doesn't appear when on the smaller screens. I can't seem to find a way to remedy this. This is also a problem when I run a HDMI cable to my tv.

These cameras look nice and when you first connect them you will be happy (just like I was) PROBLEM is they will NOT last too long. I had 2. 1 worked for 2 months, 1 worked for 11 months. I dare you to call tech support. They are masters of the runaround. You will not be satisfied with these cameras, or any of their cameras. I called for replacement 1 week after they were out of warranty Lorex told me there was nothing the could do. (I installed in a vacation house and I am not there all the time so I did not realize the issue in time) They seem to be high-end. but they are not. BUYER BEWARE

Field of view is excellent and the image is very clear. Must have ambient lighting in place for any night viewing. Simple to mount and is quick to respond to NVR commands. Well worth the price. I've included two screenshots of actual footage. One is during the day and one is at night. The deck that is shown is 40 feet long and about 12 feet wide. The camera is mounted 14 feet high and can see the entire backyard. I am upgrading the 12x PTZ Lorex cameras with these little guys once a 2k or 4k version is released, much more practical for my applications.

Pan and tilt work well. This camera doesn't have any IR lighting for night vision but doesn't matter where I'm using it. Porch lighting illuminates whenever someone walks up and the camera works fine. Would be nice to have a higher resolution than 1080p though.

Installed this camera on 12-31-16. So far the camera is great. The color at night makes the video a lot clearer. Need to work out the panning for raising the lens higher. When raising the lens up, it doesn't go high enough to zoom in where I want to go. Might need to shim the bracket on the bottom to raise it.

The camera itself is a great product so far. However, I have had a bad experience with their technical support. This is my first time purchasing from this company and setting up has been a hassle. I've had to wait a long time just to get a representative on the line and after several attempts at trying to resolve the issue I was told I would be called back within the hour. It has been weeks now and I have yet to be contacted by anyone from technical support. I tried calling back but their hold time is way too long. I had to hire a technician to come help set it up.

Purchased two of these cameras as part of a package including a NVR from Costco. The camera produces very clear images in daylight. In low light, image noise becomes very visible, ambient lighting is required for a usable picture, street lighting isn't sufficient. Mounting is not straightforward especially in a ceiling or eave, you will want to reinforce the underside of the surface before mounting the bracket for durability and security. Playback and PTZ functions are difficult to use on a phone or tablet, much easier to use from the NVR. The audio feature is also not useful, sounds are too faint to be discernible, you'll be disappointed if you buy it for this feature. One camera failed to power on when plugged back into the NVR (replaced under warranty) after only 13 months of use. Submitted a ticket on Lorex's web site, apart from a message "assigned to agent" there was no update to the ticket for weeks then the ticket was removed. Two stars for lack of customer service and poor quality. Expect more from a company like Lorex and from a camera at this price point.

Good camera with PTZ. Does not work in darkness. Needs to be mounted up high to capture full image,,,top to bottom. It does not have enough tilt up capability.

Camera does not have night vision capabilities and PTZ functions are difficult. Camera stopped working and customer service is absolutely terrible. I called Lorex at least 6 times and sent numerous emails without resolution. Believe it or not, they agreed to replace it but have not sent me a UPS label or directions on how to send back. When you call them, you are on hold for at least 40 minutes and don't fall for the options of a callback and not losing your line in place. They never call back. Customer service is non-existent!!!

Purchased the Lorex system from ON-LINE SURVEILLANCE and got no support for problems, despite repeated attempts. Finally turned to manufacturer, Lorex, and actually found tech support to be responsive. Received and RMA number for a camera, but then all support vanished. I was told the return/replacement would be arranged in 7-10 days and heard nothing more. In the ensuring almost 8 weeks I have called four times, each time told I would receive instructions in 7-10 days......nothing happened. Each time placed on hold, each time for a longer period, most recently 50 minutes. Twice was told I would be called back for final resolution, nothing happened. In a technology this complicated the lack of support negates any potential value. The rating provided is not one star only because of the initial tech support.

The LNZ3522B was easy to install and setup. I have my camera on the patio. FLIR app makes panning the entire area very easy. The only thing I didn't realize when purchased this model was it doesn't have night vision capability. So I installed a motion light to provide lighting when there is activity on the patio. I am just not able to pan and view at night if the motion light isn't activated. Otherwise it's a great addition to our security network.

If your looking for a IP camera that has a built in microphone then model LNZ3522B may be an option for you. This camera does have pan and tilt capability. It also comes with a bracket that allows mounting to a vertical wall that is not listed in the specifications. The only down side for this camera is it will not work in the dark. It does not have IR capability. It only needs a single Cat 5 or 6 cable to connect to your LN800 series NVR and is powered via POE. The audio does work but at a relatively low sound level. It does not have a very sensitive microphone. You can only listen to a small area around the camera.

I purchased this to mount at my front door but the installer said it was not for night vision like the rest of my system but only for low ambient light. This was at the time Lorex's best but no sound abilities to communicate with a person at the door. The camera does live up to the quality expected and I love the pan & tilt feature add sound and inferred features and it would be a 10

6.5 1.

Once Lorex recieved my one star rating and read my story they shipped over night delivery of replacement cameras. They were the wrong ones again. I sent another email to support freaking out a bit but not disrespecting the tech. The response explaind the issue. Because I had not yet registered the dome cameras I had purchased from Costco they again sent the bullet ones they had on file that I purchased direct from Lorex. The support person was wonderful and through one more email we figuerd out that thier system was sending the only product they had on file for me. The next shipment was quick and I had my replacements. They are working fine for now. I would suggest that Lorex scrap thier phone support and go with a Canadian call center. Email support was fantastic. I don't have a name for the tech as all emails were signed simply Lorex Support. I give the tech 5 stars. The camera gets 4 stars due to the first ones having issues and the poor night vision. Use this camera in a well lit location and you will be happy. If I had a do over I would buy the ones with Infrared for total darkness.

For the price, this is a good PT camera. You can look around and listen in on what's around the camera at a full 1080P resolution. It's small (at least the dome part is small) and is hardly noticeable. The only reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5: 1. No zoom (for the price, you can't expect it to zoom and I've had times where I want to zoom but just can't). 2. No night sensitivity to light (once the lights are out you will not see anything, it has absolutely no low light sensitivity, but for the price you get what you pay for). 3. Sometimes sticky (I've had a few instances where you could hear gears grinding and it wouldn't go past a certain point in rotation and tilt, but a reset of the system somehow made it go back to normal rotation and tilt with no grinding).

We installed this camera in our home. It is built with quality equipment. My camera arrived with a wall mount attachment also. The picture is outstanding. Even in low light it does a great job. Just a reminder, this camera does NOT have LED for total darkness, you will need to provide some ambient illumination.
