I have 4 security cameras from Lorex. They were easy to set and and I have been using them for 2 1/2 years. I love their performance. My concerns are that when I have a problem and I try to reach Lorex technical department on the telephone and by email, they do not response. Lorex has a quality products, if they would improve their service in the support department it would make them easy better.

Easy to setup and works well with wireless camera. clarity is not that good, but good for the price and the wireless feature.

We ordered the 2-pack based on the salesperson recommendation to replace our old cameras. 2 cameras came in the box. The setup & install was easy. We did add the Directional antenna to get a better DCBi gain. Picture is very clear in daylight & in night vision mode.

I bought this product on a recommendation from the people in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. I chatted with someone there and they asked all the right questions about my current dvr and cameras and said these 720hs wireless cameras were compatible. I have 2 trouble tickets in on this and no one has ever called me or e-mailed me. When dealing with this company expect to be on your own and be your own tech guy. Some of the Q and A is helpful but if you have a real issue good luck. I spent 2 hours on hold with tech support today and right at the 2 hour mark they hung up.....nice guys...not

We'll use them again and highly recommend them

We have a Lorex surveillance system with two cameras and wanted 2 more to complete the set. Adorama was the best about helping us order the correct cameras to pair with the cameras we had. We'll use them again and highly recommend them.

very satisfied with the cameras. set up was very easy. only problem experienced was related to an inability by Lorex to over ride the 10 min connection limit.

The cameras were very easy to add to our existing Lorex system and provide great peace of mind when we are not at home. Being able to check on our property from anywhere on various electronic devices is very easy and reduces stress!

The cameras itself are great and have a clear picture. The entire system is wonderful. However, they run on 2.4 ghz frequency so that KILLS your wifi. I'm on a 50mbps wifi and these slow the speed down to less than 1mbps and eventually shuts the wifi modem off because it keeps jamming up. The only solution is to make sure all of your devices are capable of running on 5.0ghz wifi frequency (think dual band router) and that should help. However, since that's a new frequency many devices are not compatible and you'll suffer from non-existent wifi in your home unless you shut these cameras off....which is pointless then to have these. I would not recommend them unless Lorex can provide a solution that doesn't kill wifi speeds running on 2.4ghz, but that sounds like it isn't a possibility. No matter what you try, you will not find a solution and eventually feel like you've wasted your money by going with wireless cameras.

I would never recommend that anyone buy from this company! I bought my first wireless cameras from best buy 6-2014. It was the 4 camera package. They worked great for the 12 months, after the 12 month came around one of my cameras would not work. Called 2 weeks after the year was up I was out of luck. I ordered another one. Same story again with 2 more. Now instead of 4 I only have 3 working cameras. Not ordering any more from this company. I feel these should last longer then 1 year ..... very disappointed.

UPDATE: Everything is working great , Thank you very much for your help , service and checking in on it. That's great !----- Good luck on getting parts for your system. I would not recommend a camera system from this company. I have called and talked to different people , had my ticket number . I finally ordered the part and it was wrong when I received it. The people I talked to was very hard to understand . When you call in you are on hold a very long time. I would not recommend any of the items.

For the most part the system work fairly good. However, I had to order 2 additional camera's and the power supply for the receiver did not work right out of the box. First Problem: Lorex Tech Support and Customer Service are in the Philippines. It is very difficult to understand these people. This is not their fault, this is a Lorex problem. Second: Their systems to move a replacement part to me has taken over 2 1/2 weeks and the part has still not shipped out. I am told it could be another day or two. I think this is a sign of serious product issues. I would think twice before buying a Lorex system. Third: They will NOT transfer calls back to the states where the product ships from so I can speak with someone that I can understand. If you need Cheap security cameras with lousy customer service, then this product is for you. I will be spending a little more next time to get a better product and customer service.

I purchased an 8 camera HD1080 system in addition to the two wireless cameras. Order date was Nov or Dec 2015. The comments in this review reflect the performance of the complete HD1080 system. First the good. The daylight picture quality provided by the system is excellent. The color and detail sharpness is without question state of the art. Downhill from this point. The night time picture quality is dark and of very poor detail. The dvr is noisy. My living room is 24 ft. long and the operating sound of the dvr is very apparent regardless were one is in the room. Disappointed. Gerry Avolio

Bought my two wireless camera system in June at Sam's this year. I installed the two camera's one at front and back door. Its a easy system and find it to be just what I needed. Since installing the first camera's decided to expand it two more camera's for each side of my house. The four camera's on my monitor works like a charm and find it to be a very useful tool in the security of my house. The wireless camera's was very easy to install and I printed off my manual online so far I'm very satisfied, also love the app. for my I-Phone works great.......... WILDMAN

I have a Lorex wireless 24 camera system with 8 cameras used and WOW....I am 100% satisfied. The lw2232 cameras can see in the dark and their range is unbelievable. I will admit that I had to play around with the system to get it where it is now , but NOW I am glad I did. I just wait until Lorex has a sale and I buy more LW2232 cameras.....THANK YOU LOREX

For the price I paid this was a very disappointing investment. I have had Lorex cameras in the past and had great picture quality. Then I ordered these and no matter how much adjustments I make you still can't make out a face in the video. Poor video quality and they video wash out with minimal lighting. Going to another camera manufacturer with better customer service and a better video quality product.

After our home was broken into, we purchased 2 cameras. have recently added two more. happy to have them, but we lose contact periodically. Not good when you're away and want to check on your house. paid for expedited delivery, but had to call several time before they were shipped. Good customer service is hard to come by. Still, happy to have them.

I purchased this pair of cameras to add to my existing system. Set-up is easy. performance is so so. I noticed a drop in reception/signal strength on all cameras. I had 4 bars on the 2 older ones prior to adding these 2. Now I have 2 or 3 on older ones and 1 or 2 on newer ones. I had to move around stuff to get enough separation between recievers to get all cameras to at least be in range. You can only move them so far as they have a short cord to dvr. I seen somewhere that they don't recommend more then 4 wireless cameras on one system , yet they sell systems with 6 wireless cameras. I was sent an email that said, I would receive a 1 year extended warranty if I reviewed my purchases. I did so months ago yet my account shows no extended warranty on my products. If I were to do it again, I likely wouldn't buy wireless again. The clarity is just not there. Sure the DVR records in 960H yet the cameras only put out VGA quality.(BIG DISAPPOINTMENT) If you don't know the person on video you may not be able to identify them anyway. Guess it depends what you want from system. If your cameras are mounted outside be aware spider webs in front of lens will cause unit to record continuosly during the night hours. You will need to clean lens on a regular basis. Had an issued with 1 camera that was showing the motion detection grid onto the dvr recording. Floating dots in a grid pattern. I unplugged camera and it was gone upon restart. Weird.? They are what they are. Do your research. HD or VGA.?? Big difference. If you can go hardwired do that.

I`ve had my wired 8 channel system for 2yrs now and found myself replacing several camera`s. After talking to tech support I found out I could use 6 wireless camera`s with my system. Great no wires to rerun from cables being outside in the weather. So I tried 2 just to see how well they work. Needless to say Hook up was a breeze and the picture quality is way better than the other older cameras in my system. The night vision is bright and allows you to see even in the dark. I plan to buy 4 more to max out my system. Glad I found out about these camera`s they really make a difference.

Ordered this LW2232 to add-on onto my system with an existing LW2231. Be careful when ordering the LW2232 as they do not have the audio recording feature. I was told by sales rep. they are the same as LW2231 only difference is they are a two pack of cameras with 1 receiver for both cameras. I am not very happy this was not mentioned nor prominently displayed on the web pages. Otherwise they are pretty good for the price and wireless.

The Lorex Two-Camera Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Surveillance System comprises two indoor/outdoor wireless cameras and a 2-channel receiver that can record and deliver footage at a resolution of 640 x 360 (VGA) at 30 fps. This system compresses recorded video in MPEG4 format to reduce bandwidth usage and save on storage space.

The camera features a 3.6mm lens, a 1/4" CMOS image sensor and an automatic IR-cut filter, which together enables it to record images of objects located as far as 135' (41m) in typical outdoor night-time ambient lighting conditions and up to 90' (27m) in total darkness. The IR-cut filter automatically retracts and closes according to the ambient illumination to let the camera record footage with accurate colors in varying lighting conditions. Housed in IP66-rated water and dust-resistant enclosures, these cameras are vandal-resistant and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

The receiver features high-gain antennas for reception within a range of 165' (50m) indoors and 500' (152m) outdoors. These antennas are bolstered by a Signal Guard feature that continuously monitors the wireless signal for signal loss and automatically reconnects upon detecting low signal strength. In addition, the receiver supports adaptive Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS), which lets it switch the wireless signal among multiple frequencies and reduce signal interference. This receiver can be connected to any surveillance DVR system through its BNC port. Moreover, this system lets you add more receivers and cameras for extended surveillance.
