Camera was purchased to replace a camera that had been damaged due to vandalism. It's not as heavy duty as the original camera but has done the job. Camera receiver stopped working after 10 months of use but thanks to the Lorez warranty it's replacement is on the way.

Our fire department purchased 5 cameras with a DVR as well. The install went smoothly. One of the cameras was placed outside and it is to early to determine how it holds up to the weather. Having the ability to monitor the cameras on a mobile device is extremely helpful

Purchased LW3211 wireless camera about 1 month ago. Had to return original due to partial blurry image in center of viewing area. Both customer service and especially technical service were outstanding in trouble shooting my problem. Shipping of replacement was very fast. New camera also has partial blurry image but not in main viewing area and very light so will continue using to see if it disappears. The rest of image is very good. Setup was very easy and quick.

An excellent replacement for an earlier Lorex Wireless Camera I have used for the past year. Easily installed fully, and made operational in a very short period. Excellent display night or day.

I got the LW1662 complete system, which came with 6-LW3211 wireless cameras. The wireless cameras installation is easy.  The hard part is getting them to perform.   I don't  understand why Lorex would sell a system with 6 wireless cameras when their transmitters can't be very near each other. They should either provide a warning or provide you with specific installation instructions and the necessary extention cables. I found in placing these wireless cameras around my 65'x45' single story footprint of a house that only 2 transmitters can be right around the DVR and must be about 3' apart. The other 4 need to be at least 12' away from the first 2, in opposite directions from the DVR area, and 3' apart at their location. To do that you need to buy 4 BNC extension cables and 4-BNC couplers. Lorex sells these or you can shop around.  I installed 4 of mine in windows so I put one high and one low. The 2 farthest away from the DVR (around 65 feet) I had to experiment with spots to get adequate signals. The literature says the wireless cameras recieve signals from 150' to 500' depending on how direct the line of sight is between the camera and the reciever but from inside my house or a typical house structure, adequate signal strength was recieved at about 40' of each other. Once you have them getting more than 3 of 5 dots in signal strength you can move on to picture quality. If you don't get 3 consistent dots of strength the your cameras keep dropping off with an "Out Of Range message". The day picture quality of the wireless cameras are fine, just slightly less clear than the 1080p dome cameras, but that is expected. The night vision is the real limitation. The night vision looks like a picture of an old time flash light, you know a bright spot in the center with a dimmer ring around that. Then the area outside that dimmer ring is pitch  black dark. So if you want to see very well at night you need to install IR Flood lights to enhance the IR light to light up a larger area for your cameras to see. Again, Lorex sells these or you can shop around. It has taken me quite a bit of trial and error on the wireless cameras, research and extra products to get the performance I was expecting. I am fine with trouble shooting but Lorex should do better to explain the operating and installation parameters and either advise the purchase of or give you the necessary BNC extension cables/couplers. I also was unimpressed with the necessity of having to plug up in every cameras power supply into individual outlets. They should have put in this system the 8 in 1 power adapter, so just one outlet can supply all the cameras. It was a total PITA coming up with the right plug configurations and multi- power plugs to accommodate the 8 camera,  1-DVR and 1-Monitor power needs.

This is an outstanding camera. Simple installation ( it does need a 120 volt outlet for power) and easy to pair with the DVR. I installed 4 of these(max for the DVR) and they work well. If you have enough ambient white light near the camera it renders color video.

I originally bought a Lorex 4 camera 8 channel system but there was one area that I could not cover with a wired camera. I contacted Lorex and received great technical support and the recommendation of this compatible wireless camera. It was very easy to install. It works great, The resolution is quite satisfactory both day and night. I definitely recommend Lorex products and service!

I bought the system on Black Friday and got a great price. In fact, I bought 2 systems and gave one as a Christmas gift. It works pretty good; however, I would love a wider range on the camera. After about a year of use, one of the cameras went out but with the 2 year warranty Lorex replaced the camera with no problems. All in all, I would definitely purchase the camera system again.

The cameras are fine but they are asking me to review cameras which belong to the L182W system I ordered and are marked with that PO number. So I still have 3 LW3211 cameras coming. Other than that, the cameras are very satisfactory so far.

Ordered product on Aug. 2 2017 did not receive product, but Website said product was in stock, so I cancelled the order on Aug. 28 2017. Today is Sept. 6 2017, still have not been reimbursed for my cancelled order. But yet they took my money without shipping item, everyone else that I deal with don't charge me until it ships. No longer a Lorex customer.

I bought the LW3211 camera to replace a LW2110 that I had on my Speco D V R along with 2 other LW211 WIRELESS LOREX cameras that have been working fine for the last 4 years when I received the LW3211 it did not work right out of the box. I contacted Tec support and after a 1/2 hour wait the Tec advised me to pack up the camera and take it to a Costco store to test it there then let her know how it worked in the store via e-mail and she would then let me know if I could send it back. This is after only owning the camera for less than a week. I guess the no questions asked return policy is REALY NOT TRUE. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A HARD TIME WITH ANY PRODUCT IN THE PAST 15 YEARS OF BEING IN THE CCTV BUSNESS.She even advised me that I could not hook the camera direct to a monitor to view it and they only work on LOREX D V R. I REALY LIKED YOUR PRODUCTS BUT THIS HAS PUT A VERY, VERY, VERY BAD INFLUINCE AS IF I WILL PURCHESE ANY MORE OF YOUR PRODUCTS.

Well, I lost my first Lorex DVR -- probably heat related here in the LV region. Got a solid 3+ years. I am fine with the timeline as the device was in the garage and heat is the enemy. So I purchased a new LHR 2000 series product (1080p, ,but would work with my existing 720p cameras). I also got this LW3211 wireless camera. WOW. Plug and Play. A good 100+ feet between this device and receiver (that connects to one of the BNC camera inputs) -- AND through the house (in backyard, furthest point on my property connecting to DVR in garage). Quality of connection is great. Going to get another 1 or 2 of these. Highly recommend.

The LW3211 camera has a design flaw with regards to it's limited mounting flexibility. The antenna port is located on the back of the camera adjacent to the camera mount arm. Neither the mount arm nor the antenna port are moveable. To make matters worse, the camera UV hood is only located at the top of the camera. So if you wish to rotate the camera it is possible to rotate the hood so that UV radiation from the sun can oxidize the plastic lens cover. So if you mount the camera on the side of a wall and point it at 10 degree angle away from the wall then try to rotate the camera so that the hood is protecting from UV and rain then you will find the antenna hits the camera mount arm. It's impossible to mount the camera in this position without tilting the image and rotating the camera into an angle that allows UV/oxidation damage to the plastic lens cover over time. My suggestion would be to either move the antenna to the side of the camera or add a weather hood that completely encompasses the circumference of the lens. I do not recommend anyone purchase this camera until it's design flaw has been resolve (May 11, 2017).

Needed a camera at the front door. We had a rash of soliciting, some of which was disturbing, so we added this camera on the advice of the technical support experts at LOREX. Once installed, it has been very reliable and the clarity and color is perfect! This has reduced our stress level and added to our sense of security. Thank you LOREX!!

I had older Lorex cameras and these appear much better. The image is very sharp but wish they were in color and not just black and white. Time will tell how they hold up in the heat here....the old ones did not hold up when in the sun.

Wireless makes mounting easier and opens up your choices re mounting location. I found no interference between the three LW3211 cameras and the local wi fi. Wireless range is super, much better than expected, even with a few wood and plaster walls and one stucco wall. Sync and DVR connection was simple. Camera transmitter and receivers were synced when they arrived and then connection with the DVR was painless. Instructions are sufficient and super simple. Image quality is acceptable, but it?s unfortunate they don?t have wireless cameras with HD image quality like the 4 other Lorex cameras we installed. Image quality at night is poorer and the IR illuminator only covers a small portion (30% ?) of the field of view. Everything else in the field of view is dark and useless. This was confirmed by aiming the camera at the ground instead of the back yard. The design of the mount on this camera is poor. Ceiling mounting and pointing is Ok and easy, but when wall mounted it?s almost impossible to get it aimed where you want it. The mount only allows motion in one direction (horizontal or vertical, or a diagonal). The other cameras (dome and bullet) were super easy to aim exactly where needed.

25% fail rate. 1 of 4 failed out of box. As I write this I have been on hold, waiting for warranty return authorization, for over 1 1/4 hours. i tried online to get a rma and return authorization but was unable to. The form advided me it was sucessfull but offered nothing in the way of guidence as how to proceed with the return. No email, no rma, no instructions. It is readily apparent this company has no intention if honoring a warranty.
