but my main reason for commenting here is because I was struggling to get this thing folded up...I read Harv's review and his description of how to do it was simple and precise...i tried watching youtube videos and other instructions...but Harv hit a grand slam with this one...thanks Harv

I use these things not just for reflecting light back in to a subject, but also as a gobo to block extraneous light. I like these collapsable reflectors a lot and as long as you're not in a strong wind, they're simple to just clamp to a stand, a stop sign, mailbox, lamppost, security guard or whatever is convenient and not doing anything else at that moment. Highly recommended accessory for all photogs. If you've never used one of these, spend a lot of time getting used to folding it back up. It takes some practice and you'll look like an idiot if you're on location and can't figure it out. Basically think "Taco Shell". Bring the opposite two long corners together, from there it will want to "fold" itself in to the correct configuration. There's really only one way to do it and once you figure it out, you can fold it instantly. I think it's a little more expensive than it should be, but I also would never be without at least one of them. It comes with it's own fabric case, and it's quite nice. I've used another brand in the past that was more expensive and its case was a clear plastic piece of junk.
