I am just getting into flash photography and after reading a few books on the topic I was amazed at what my rarely used Canon Speedlite could do. I decided to buy the "Lastolite 24X24 Ezybox Hot Shoe Softbox Kit With Case". I am very happy with the product. It is very easy to assemble and has everything you need to start shooting immediately. The photos I get using this soft box are excellent. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great portable softbox. The only thing I wish this had - as a kit - would be the longer extension arm and the flat softbox case instead of the twist-fold circular case. I watched Mark Cleghorn's Lastolite's product video and he mentioned that this softbox now comes with the flat case. One the plus side - this softbox is everything it says it is. It is compact, light, easy to assemble, sturdy .. and so on. I use this with my Nikon SB 900s and don't have any issues normally associated with the 900s fatter hot-shoe. The short extension stick is really handy for getting the softbox away from the camera and can also be used w\o the softbox to get your bare flash, with or w\o a diffuse dome for some great off camera flash. The lighting stand is a great addition to my growing collection. I also like the sturdy Manfro Tilthead Bracket.

This works great on location for portraits. Coverage is good with a nice soft light. Great kit for the price. The stand is very high quality and strong.
