Every part of this unit seems very strong, yet it's not any larger than other single-flash brackets I have. I see this being my go-to umbrella swivel because it is very solid and very portable. I have no fear of a speedlite falling off because of the great cold shoes. An umbrella fits very securely without "drooping". The geared joint keeps gravity from pulling anything down from where you set it. The only issue I have is that it's not easy to turn the knobs, especially the tiny cold shoe knobs. They're very small and it's pretty cramped, especially when you have multiple speedlites attached. I would recommend this unit to anyone unless you have weak fingers/arthritis or you want cold shoes that rotate.
