REBECCA Z : Can you direct me to a stand for this?LARRY M : Just about any photography stand will do just fine. I would strongly suggest one of the more solid ones& sand bags if you will be suing this product outdoors where wind is likely.
LarryTONY G : Any lightstand will do really except for a very light one. You will need to add weight to whatever stand you use as this trigrip is not light by any means.ERIK O : Any sturdy light stand with a swivel grip (or a C-stand) will work with this bracket. Sturdiness is, however, important -- when you tilt the flash bracket with a TriGrip attached, your light stand can easily tip over. Consider buying a sand bag for extra support.JAMES P : A C stand is ideal but needs a heavy duty stand in case of wind That is should you move into the jumbo tri gripsJEFFREY C : Any standard light stand will do. Hope this helps you.LEE W : You can use any light stand with a 5/8" stud on top of it. There are many to choose from. They range from $20-$200+ depending on size, sturdiness etc. This bracket with a flash won't be heavy so a light-weight light stand - maybe a collapsible one - might be a good choice. Over Priced & Awkward
I use the device to mount a Trigrip diffuser to a stand. The device provides a channel into which the grip portion of a Lastolite Trigrip diffuser/reflector is inserted and then restrained by a velcro strip. The whole thing is then attached to a ballhead and mounted to a stand. It works but without a feeling of great security. It also enables the mounting of a flash behind the diffuser on a two piece folding arm. Again, without a feeling of great security. The angle of the flash to the difffuser is fixed but the flash can be moved side to side and in and out. I know of no other convient way to use the diffuser without a helper so much is forgiven, but I wish it were more robust.

Excellent product, nicely surprised
I haven't used this a lot as it is fairly new, but what I see looks great. It's what I need to hold my Triflip when I work alone.
