Nice,controllable softbox-like umbrella

I own many conventional umbrellas,and have tried inexpensive imitations of this design;this is a better performer than knock-offs. Features 100% light-proof backing, so there is much less scattered light than with shoot-through or reflecting umbrellas in tight shooting areas. Works well with monolights or Speedotron Brown or Black Line flash heads. Very soft light for an umbrella, with just a touch of specularity on foreheads and noses. Good for quick set-up portraiture using 1 40" as main, 1 50 degree backlight, and one 39x72" reflector. Looks excellent with 2 x40" used side-by-side or over-under for skin softening on older ladies.
