This boom arm delivers
I was just buying this to use until i could afford something better. I didn't expect it to be well constructed. It's solid, firm and perfect for my speedlights. Its been getting lots of use.

HEAVY DUTY ARM
This black heavy duty arm holds my Flashpoint 320M with a Flashpoint 24" X 32" softbox without any flexing. Well made and very sturdy.The main arm is 1" diameter and the secondary arm is 7/8" diameter.

Worked fine.
Adorama had the part I needed at an affordable price. Customer service was great and suggested just the right part so I didn't have to continue searching online.

Excellent for hair light
I bought this boom arm to use to do portraits on location and studio. I attach a 24 inch softbox to soften the light and a small external flash (SB-600) with trigger. The arm extends to 7 feet and can hold easily the weight for my system. Comes with an empty bag for counter weight the light (good to avoid overprices in shipping).
To hang the counter weight it comes with a ring and harness.
You should buy separately the adapter clamp to adapt to the stand.
It was a low investment to achieve better results in portraits.
