The HDREvie+ is equipped with a sophisticated integrated frame synchronizer, complete with comprehensive audio processing capabilities. It stands out as the world's first system to utilize an advanced algorithm for sectional dynamic tone mapping. This state-of-the-art feature automatically analyzes 144 tiles of each frame in the HDR stream, applying optimal corrections on a frame-by-frame basis in real-time.
This unique capability sets the HDREvie+ apart from other solutions, making it an ideal real-time production tool for high-stakes live broadcasts such as sports events, where high-quality real-time HDR to SDR conversions are crucial.
The HDREvie+ excels in a single native HDR workflow, effectively reducing equipment and manual operation costs. It provides a single 4K/UHD processing channel, supporting down-conversion from HDR transfer characteristics to SDR through appropriate sectional dynamic tone mapping.
Designed to meet the Wide Color Gamut (WCG) needs of broadcasters and professional AV live events, the HDREvie+ also includes HDR Static configuration for Static HDR SDR conversions. This performs static tone mapping to facilitate UP/Down/Cross conversions between HDR and SDR, making it ideal for studios or environments where light conditions remain constant.
The greenMachine titan, included in the HDREvie+ package, boasts a fully featured local control interface with an LCD that can display image previews and audio level meters of the processed video paths. Advanced configurations, monitoring, and remote control are possible via the GreenGUI application, compatible with both PC and MAC.
When configured for HDR Static, the greenMachine can function as a 4 channel 3G SDI device or a single channel 4K device. When set up for HDR Evie+, it operates as a single channel device, capable of handling any SDI signal up to 4K (12G).
Each greenMachine comes preloaded with all available constellations (configurations), including the GMC-HDR-EVIE+ constellation installed and licensed. The HDR STATIC constellation is also included and can be easily selected and the machine reconfigured. You can freely load any of the available constellations for testing and evaluation at any time, with video and audio watermarked until licensed. Multiple constellations can be licensed for the same machine, and switching between configurations takes only a few seconds. Constellations can also be shared if you have more than one greenMachine on the network.
