Shot first photos with a digital point & shoot camera, the color is good and has soft light. The 70 watt bulb isn't bright enough, I would recommend getting the flashpoint 85 watt bulb. Can't wait to shoot some film with my twin lens reflex with this light.

This is my first studio light so I didn't want to spend a lot of money not knowing what to expect, I am so happy with this light I now own a second light with a softbox and a flashpoint 320M Monolight, Good deal for starting out

I bought these for the simple task of adding more light to my plating photos. I didn't need a full studio worth of light, just something more than what was available in normal kitchen ceilings. I bought these along with my new Nikon D7000 and SB-900 flash. These are wonderul for what I wanted them for and I didn't pay tons of money to get them. I couldn't be happier with them. They aren't as flimsy as the price might suggest. Yes, I suppose you could do more with professional studio gear that costs thousands more but these are easy to set up, easy to use, and they work great for my purposes. I bought two of them and I love them!
