This compact device is expertly engineered to overcome the limitations associated with the long-distance distribution of broadcast-quality analog reference and composite video signals.

The OTX 1712 is not just a basic analog to fiber converter. It is equipped with advanced technology that ensures a high degree of sync and burst phase stability during the conversion and fiber transmission process. This makes it an ideal solution for maintaining precise synchronization between remote installations.

This versatile device is capable of converting NTSC/PAL composite video to fiber optic signals. It first transforms the NTSC/PAL video signal into an SDI signal, incorporating reference and other pertinent information, before converting it to fiber. This unique feature allows for the direct conversion of the fiber signal to SDI if needed, using an SDI receiver such as the ORX 1802.

The OTX 1712 is designed with a passive loop output and offers support for LC, ST, or SC single mode fiber connections, providing flexibility to suit your specific needs. An LC version suitable for multimode fiber is also available, further enhancing its adaptability.
