I've been using this as a key light for my YouTube channel over the last 9 months and its been great. I like I can balance the color with my room lights if I have to. Bright enough to keep my ISO down, but not so bright it hurts. Generates some heat and noise, but not enough to affect my vocals (and I don't use background music). One thing is my umbrella, which fits my photography strobes, doesn't fit into this light without a lot of force because the hole is too narrow compared to the shaft of the umbrella. It works, but I fear I'll bend it one day.

I?ve been using this light for the past 6 months as my main key light for very large wedding reception or event areas. I like to say it?s overkill but in the best way. It?s also great for bouncing off ceilings or walls for a different diffused look too. It?s small, super powerful, the app is responsive for color control & brightness, which is super convenient, it?s quiet & doesn?t overheat. Use this in conjunction with the ML60Bi for an awesome light ecosystem. Only downside is the inability to use a V-mount battery with this light, as it has a 48v input. However, you could use with a power station for added mobility. But the included cable is already very long and most venues have an outlet to plug in to.

Outstanding. Just love the light they produce, and the weight of the head is incredibly easy to work with. Good, solid feel to the case. Bowens mount is strong, secure, and simple--not finicky with a large variety of Bowen mount modifiers. I'm using this for portrait photography in a smallish, 15?25-foot studios with 11-foot ceilings. Power is amazing with the Godox Fresnel FLS8, and the optional barndoors for the Fresnel work very nicely with good "cuts." Also works GREAT with the VSA-26 Spotlight attachment. I'm currently using only for stills, but, as for fan noise, it's so much quieter than my Buff strobes that it seems silent in comparison. From two yards away I can't really hear the fan at all. The Aputure Lightdome Mini II produces light very much like a beauty dish with these. (If you are new to COB type LED lights, I can tell you that not all modifiers work well with them because the LED doesn't always project far enough into the modifier to spread. Watch out for deeper Bowens adapters that create a tunnel effect and cause the light to make more of a beam within the modifer. Adorama sells "low-profile" Bowens speedring inserts that work better if you are trying to make an old softbox work--but it can be trail and error.) All in all, an amazingly high-quality product at an entry level price. Personally, even just last year I wasn't seeing a power to price ratio I was ready to go with, but now things are getting much better.

Love this light! It is very small but puts out bright, clean and accurate light. The addition of Bi-Color adds to the versatility and the app works very well for controlling the light remotely. The fan is very quiet and has has a very soft, barely perceptible sound. This is a big improvement over my older SL60W lights which now seem underpowered and loud in comparison but will still serve me well as fill lights for product shots.
