This is another bounce tool that CAN produce excellent results IF you have the time to set it up for a given shot. It's not for situations where you can't stop and prep the shot.

This has a nice soft rubber., will adjust anyplace. Watch out it would not fit my Nikon sb 900 speedlight.

I bought this about a year ago when I was working at a daily paper in hopes that it would give me more flexibility to bounce flash in tough situations. Unfortunately, it was cumbersome, clumsy, and useless. There really isn't more to say about it. It looks cool, and like it might be a neat gadget to have. But it isn't. I returned it.

I use this whenever I shoot indoors. It works great. It is really easy to assemble, there is a video that you can go to if you get a litle stuck. The video really helped me a lot. I don't have anything negitave to say about it.

I've had this thing for over 2 months, and I finally decided to use it in a shoot. The Versaflex worked better than I could have hoped. My portraits were very flattering. The light was flat with virtually no hot spots. My only gripe is the construction. It feels like an unfinished product. But it works!

Gives you complete control over your light output, regardless of the setting. I was shooting execs in their offices. Some had windows behind them, to the left, right, in front, etc. I was able to supplement the natural light in every office with quick and easy adjustments. It works perfect!

Just finished playing with this and it's really really fun. The possibilities are endless for bouncing off walls, ceiling. With the Nikon SB-600 as a remote it's even more fun. Wish it were a bit more sturdy but I do like the light weight and small form factor. It does take a little time to "line up" the bounces but my bad aim led to some pretty nice lighting effects. I imagine after time I''ll develop more of an eye for the angles. Could be priced a little less as it's essential plastic and rubber. Wish the mirrored cards were more durable I can see them getting scratched up quickly but hey maybe some aluminum foil will work as a substitute. Overall I'm happy.

Pretty nifty piece of equipment. Slight learning curve to use the panels properly but once you have it down it is very usefull. It could use the ability to mount larger panels to allow more control of the flash as well as a higher placement of those panels (to allow for a better "bounce" effect. As it stands the small panels are too close to the flash head and can make "bouncing" the flash difficult in situations where the ceilings are not of a desireable color. Raising the panels would be the simplest way to remedy this or perhaps creating some type of joint that would allow the panels to be positioned further back on the flash head. Other than that it is a great, compact, piece of equipment which I use mostly for nightclub and event photography (hence the reason I like it's compact nature) but I think would especially excell in portrait applications.
