This is a standard brass stud adapter that can be used with light stands, multi-clips, articulating and extension arms, custom-built stands and other items using a stud to hold lights, umbrella holders and other mounted devices. It works exactly as intended at a lower price than some other studs. It's very handy to keep a few of these around as you never know when you might need them.
