I like this umbrella holder. The main reason I got it was because I wanted to be able to pack it into a small space, and this is the most streamlined one I saw. I'm very happy with it, but if I wasn't using them on the run, I'd go with one that had larger tightening devices. For my use this is perfect. Streamlined and compact.

The ball mechanism used hold the desired angle is not very smooth to use, nor does it every seems to lock into place very well. It seems poorly constructed. Having the flash mount on top is nice, but my flashes came with their own adapters for attaching to light stands.

Easy to set up and universal. You can put it on old tripods. Put it on screw or hot shoe. Reliable. Easy to put umbrella. Must have couple.

A little flimsy, but are sufficient to hold a small umbrella and off camera flash.
