I use the Flashpoint 32" umbrella as a shoot through light modifier. Works great with my Flashpoint 300w moonlight and portable backdrop.

This is a nice compact light modifier that I use for both studio shoots (with hot lights) and in the field (with speedlites). It is well made; especially for the price.

Only had for 2 weeks but so far it seems well worth the non expensive price.

I use these for bounce flash and to shoot through. They are lightweight and very portable. I pack two of these and two light stands with Adorama umbrella mounts with flash shoe in a 36 inch rifle case which also holds my wireless triggers and two Sunpak flashes.

Actually I am a retired "Pro" photographer!1. I must have been asleep when I ordered this umbrella. I thought I was getting a 43 inch and instead I got a 33 inch umbrella. I decided to keep it anyway because returning it would cost more than it was worth.2. Turns out that it is perfect for products shots. I am selling a lot of my photo stuff bought over the years on[...].I haven't tried the shoot thru option as the white material is thin and the umbrella has a black cover. All in all this very economical product does a lot for the money.

A fine umbrella. Good for shoot through or bounce off. The only thing I worry about is whether the caps that hold the black back on and fit over the metal umbrella tips will break loose. I've only used it a couple times, and it has not been a problem.

it allows the flexibility to remove the back and use it as a defuser or leave it on and have a reflector

Great umbrella, surprisingly strong construction. Gets the job done incredibly well.

The black/reflective layer is easy to remove and put back. The tube is solid, so you do not have to put a pencil in it to keep from crushing it when affixing it to a stand.

I am using this unit with my Nikon Sb800. I t allows me to take glamour shots with two strobes with out wires and I can use the Andorama umbrella either shot through or with the back on for soft light and all self contained..

I used two of these with Nikon strobes as diffusers to shoot a group shot of 40 people outside to add fill light. They worked great. Packing was an issue and they collapsed down nicely and took little room in my luggage.

I use this mostly as a shoot-through with my flash, but the removable reflective backing is nice to have when using it as a bounce. The umbrella seems well made over all.

This is the perfect size umbrella for my studio. Shooting through the umbrella makes a beautifully soft light.

I have three of these now and think that they should be enough to get through the tight spots where there just isn't enough light or need to get rid og the shadows.

This umbrella is great for additional lighting, back lighting, and by having the removable cover it not only keeps the white clean but prevents light from going in the wrong direction.

This umbrella has worked fine for me for several months of weekend warrior type use. One of the connectors for the black cover came unstitched but I was able to sew it back relatively easily and quickly. I think it was worth the savings buying this product.

The black backing can be removed to create a "shoot through" umbrella to create a softbox lighting effect. Great for still life setups or single light head & shoulder portraits. Use a colored filter in front of the light for some really special effects.
