Wish I could return

This was an interesting idea, but it turned out to be a costly experiment for me. From the minute I got it, things didn't quite match up. The app interface took a little getting use to because of the way you choose which variable is measured. After a couple days, I got use to how to compensate for what seemed natural. The next thing I encountered was actually quite odd. Lumu can't measure a speedlight (at least my Godox TT600) when it's in slave mode. I discovered that limitation by accident after trying to figure out why the Lumu died on a photoshoot. The batteries died on the speedlight I was using, which is when I switched to another speedlight that happened to be in slave mode. When I got home, I discovered the limitation. I also experienced some usability frustration with my light meter and my flash trigger both being apps on my phone. So, I had to repeatedly remove my flash trigger from my camera, which messed up my composition. It was an annoying aspect of my workflow.
