While maintaining a sleek and modern design, the IMC12Q-TS100-2W Speaker System from Lowell Manufacturing is a high-performance, ready-to-install loudspeaker system, specifically designed for suspended installations. This stylish and contemporary audio equipment is perfect for high-energy environments with high ceilings, such as clubs, bars, sports facilities, hotel ballrooms, transportation terminals, convention centers, and exhibit halls.

The system features a robust 12" 250W driver (12Q250) with a sturdy motor structure, a 77 oz. magnet, and a 4-inch edge-wound aluminum voice coil. Complementing the driver is a 5.3" mylar dome tweeter, equipped with a 42 oz. magnet and a 1.75" voice coil, offering an exceptional blend of power handling and efficiency.

The built-in crossover network, featuring a fourth-order high-pass and low-pass filter, ensures proper frequency division between the two drivers. The driver frame is crafted from cast aluminum with a black corrosion-resistant finish and is conveniently mounted in the enclosure with terminations accessible through a top-mounted cover plate.

The system includes a TLS-10070 70V 100W transformer, designed to offer superior music fidelity in 70V distributed applications. Lowell's 20/20 AudioVision transformer provides true 20Hz-20kHz performance, with a screwdriver-adjustable tap selector switch accessible through an opening in the grille. This transformer allows the speaker to operate at full potential while providing a stable load to the amplifier, making a distributed speaker system sound as good as a transformer-less direct-to-voice-coil system, but with easier wiring, reduced labor, and less expense.

The 2 cubic foot precision-formed steel cylindrical enclosure (21" x 15.125" diameter) is lined with 1-1/2" thick premium acoustic lining and features forged 1/4"-20 eyebolts for secure suspended installation. Connections are externally accessible and terminated through a 4" x 4" flush cover plate. The enclosure is finished with a white powder epoxy for an elegant look. The system is completed with a round perforated steel grille, also finished with white powder epoxy. Note: A 3 cubic foot cylindrical enclosure is available by special order for architectural considerations.
