It has been great so far. I carry two light stands, one monopod, and a folding chair. The material is durable and the zipper has survived so far. I used it twice a week, to shoot roller derby, and a few portrait sessions.

Nice length, will accept medium- heavy (ie, 48" folded) light stands. Components and sewing seem adequate for such stands. Has one hard bottom end, but is without side padding. I added 1/4" sheet polyethylene to separate items internally.

I've taken this bag on 4 commercial location shoots so far and it's held up perfectly — even surviving a rough trip through airline baggage (a stand was dented, but the bag came out flawless). The shape of the bag and zipper configuration are designed in a way that allows the bag to open so that it's almost flat. I can easily fit 3-4 medium light stands, several umbrellas, boom arm, a tripod and accessories in with room to spare. The material, stitching, and straps are really high quality. Overall it feels really solid and gets the job done. The only thing that could improve it, would be some light padding on the inside and a couple of small pockets on the outside (it has no pockets at all). Overall, I love it and I'm very pleased with the purchase and price point.

I use this to store for travel two Alien Bee heads, with radio slaves mounted on light stands. Plus there's room for a 3rd small strobe on a light stand. This saves me one or two trips to the car and therefore lessens the setup time. Most all my portraits are done on location, so time is important.
