With its robust construction and versatile design, the LER-2422 24U 22" Depth Enclosed Stand Alone Floor Rack is an essential addition to any professional audio, video, or network equipment setup. This 24U rack is built with a fully welded 16-gauge steel frame and a sturdy 14-gauge steel base, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of daily use. The strength of the rack is further enhanced by reinforcement at all load-bearing junctions, offering a level of durability comparable to 11-gauge steel.The rack's sleek black wrinkle powder epoxy finish not only adds to its professional appearance but also provides an extra layer of protection against wear and tear. The design includes beveled edge corners on both the front and rear, reducing the risk of injury or damage when moving the rack.Ventilation is a key feature of the LER-2422, with upper and lower vents on the front to facilitate airflow and prevent overheating of equipment. The frame is equipped with nutserts, allowing for the easy addition of an optional surface-mount door that can swing either left or right, depending on your preference. Please note that the front door must be ordered separately.The rear of the rack includes removable knockout panels above and below the door, featuring combination EKOs suitable for conduit sizes ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/2" and KOs designed for wireless antennae at 1/2". A removable blank project panel is also found below the door for additional customization.The standard model comes with a recessed door that includes vents and a key lock, and it can be set to swing in either direction. If a rear door is not required, you can specify this by adding the "LRD" suffix to the model number.For added stability, the welded side panels feature vents at the top and bottom. The open access bottom of the rack is thoughtfully designed with a 10-32 threaded grounding stud, 3/8"-16 threaded T-nuts for optional leg levelers, and holes ready for anchor bolts, ensuring secure placement and grounding of the rack.The closed top is constructed from steel and includes two vents for additional airflow. Cable management is made simple with combination knockouts in the rear of the rack.The rack rails are a standout feature, offering full adjustability with one pair of 11-gauge steel, 10-32 threaded rails on E.I.A. spacing. These rails are marked with bi-directional numbered RU increments and can be mounted in either direction, providing flexibility in equipment setup. The black finish on the rails matches the rest of the rack for a consistent look.Installation is made quick and easy with black pilot point screws that come with captive washers.
