From the professional studio to the home office, the LGR 40U 36" Depth Open Frame Gangable Rack offers a robust and versatile solution for your equipment storage needs. This rack, finished in a sleek black wrinkle powder epoxy, is constructed from fully welded, certified U.S. 16-gauge steel, ensuring durability and strength equivalent to 11-gauge steel. The 14-gauge base is reinforced at all load-bearing junctions, providing robust support for your valuable equipment.

The rack's design features beveled edge corners on both the front and rear, adding a touch of sophistication to its robust construction. The front of the rack is equipped with upper and lower vents for optimal airflow, ensuring your equipment stays cool during operation.

The rack's frame is designed with nutserts, ready to accommodate an optional surface-mount door, which can be ordered separately. The door can swing either to the left or right, offering flexibility in setup. The rear of the rack includes removable knockout panels above and below the door, with combination EKOs for conduit (1/2"-3/4" and 1"-1-1/2") and KOs for wireless antennae (1/2").

The LGR 40U rack also features a removable blank project panel in the frame below the door. The standard model includes a recessed rear door with vents and a key lock, which can be omitted by adding the "LRD" suffix to the model number.

The rack's sides offer open access with a rear vertical array of 2" dia. holes and 4" x 1.5" obround openings along the base for efficient cable routing between racks. The bottom of the rack includes a 10-32 threaded grounding stud in the corner, 3/8"-16 threaded T-nuts for optional leg levelers, and holes for anchor bolts.

The top of the rack is configurable and features a 10U opening with riveted 10-32 threaded rails on 19" E.I.A. spacing. It includes two black 19"W closure panels, which can be replaced with optional 19" fan panels. The rack also provides ample cable management options with abundant lacing points and nearly 2" of space between front rails and front-to-rear rail supports.

The rack comes with two pairs of fully adjustable 11-gauge steel 10-32 threaded rails on E.I.A. spacing, finished in black. The rack is compliant with EIA/TIA and RoHS standards and is UL 2416 listed in the U.S. and Canada.
