Under the category of robust and versatile storage solutions, the LGR 40U 42" Depth Open Frame Gangable Rack stands out. This rack, devoid of a rear door, is designed with four adjustable rails, making it ideal for multi-bay cable routing. The rack's construction is a testament to its durability, featuring a fully welded 16-gauge steel frame and a 14-gauge base, reinforced at all load-bearing junctions. This strength is equivalent to that of 11-gauge steel, ensuring robust support for your equipment.
The rack's aesthetic appeal is enhanced by its black wrinkle powder epoxy finish, while its beveled edge corners on the front and rear add a touch of sophistication. Ventilation is well taken care of with upper and lower vents at the front. The rack's frame nutserts are prepared for the addition of an optional surface-mount door, which can swing either left or right, and needs to be ordered separately.
The rear of the rack features removable knockout panels above and below the door, with combination EKOs for conduit (1/2"-3/4" and 1"-1-1/2") and KOs for wireless antennae (1/2"). A removable blank project panel is also included in the frame below the door. The standard model comes with a recessed rear door with vents and a key lock, but this can be omitted by adding the "LRD" suffix to the model number.
The rack's sides are open access, featuring a rear vertical array of 2" diameter holes and 4" x 1.5" obround openings along the base for efficient cabling between racks. Optional side panels can extend .625". The bottom of the rack is also open access, including a 10-32 threaded grounding stud in the corner, 3/8"-16 threaded T-nuts for optional leg levelers, and holes for anchor bolts.
The top of the rack is configurable and comes with closure panels. The 17U opening features riveted 10-32 threaded rails on 19" E.I.A. spacing and includes three black 19"W closure panels (3U, 4U, 10U) which can be replaced with optional 19" fan panels. The rack also boasts a 6"D rear conduit plane with combination EKOs for conduit (1/2"-3/4" and 1"-2"), KOs for wireless antennae (1/2"), and room to field-punch an opening for 4" diameter conduit.
Cable management is a breeze with the rack's abundant cable lacing points and generous wire management space of nearly 2" between front rails and front-to-rear rail supports. The rack rails are fully adjustable, featuring two pairs of 11-gauge steel 10-32 threaded rails on E.I.A. spacing with bi-directional numbered RU increments. The rack comes with black pilot point screws with captive washers for quick installation. This product is EIA/TIA compliant, RoHS compliant, and UL 2416 Listed in the U.S. and Canada.
