After careful design and robust construction, the LSGR-4027 40U Seismic Gangable Rack stands as a testament to durability and reliability. This 27" deep rack is fully welded from 16-gauge US certified steel, reinforced at all load-bearing junctions with a 14-gauge base, offering strength equivalent to 11-gauge steel. This sturdy construction ensures it can withstand seismic activity, making it an ideal choice for data centers and server rooms in earthquake-prone areas.

The rack's black wrinkle powder epoxy finish not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also enhances its durability. The front of the rack features upper and lower vents for efficient airflow, while the frame nutserts are ready to accommodate an optional surface-mount door, which can swing either left or right.

The rear of the rack is designed with two removable knockout panels above the door, featuring combination EKOs for conduit (1/2"-3/4" and 1"-1-1/2") and KOs for wireless antennae (1/2"). Additionally, it includes two removable blank project panels below the door and a recessed door with vents and a key lock for secure access.

The rack's sides feature a seamless X-frame construction with multiple openings for cable runs between racks. The rear vertical array of 2" dia. holes and 4" x 1.5" obround openings along the base allow for easy cable management. The bottom of the rack features a welded bracket in each corner with a hole for an anchor bolt, and a 10-32 threaded grounding stud.

The top of the rack is configurable and features a 7U opening with riveted 10-32 threaded rails on 19" E.I.A. spacing. It includes two black closure panels (3U, 4U) which can be replaced with optional 19" panels. The rack also features a 6"D rear conduit plane with combination EKOs for conduit (1/2"-3/4" and 1"-2"), KOs for wireless antennae (1/2"), and room to field-punch an opening for 4" dia. conduit.

The rack's 40U rails are fully adjustable, made from 11-gauge steel, and feature bidirectional numbered RU increments. The rack is EIA/TIA compliant, RoHS compliant, and UL 2416 Listed in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and safety. The rack ships with P.E. Certified documentation for added assurance.
