Constructed from fully welded, certified U.S. steel, this 16-gauge frame with a 14-gauge bottom is reinforced at all load-bearing junctions, providing strength equivalent to 11-gauge steel. The black wrinkle powder epoxy finish adds an extra layer of durability and sophistication to this high-quality rack.

The rack is designed with beveled edge corners at the front and rear, and features upper and lower vents at the front for optimal airflow. The frame nutserts are ready to accommodate an optional surface-mount door, which can be ordered separately and can swing either left or right.

At the rear, you'll find two removable knockout panels in the frame above the door, with combination EKOs for conduit and KOs for wireless antennae. Two removable blank project panels are also available in the frame below the door. The rack includes a recessed door with vents and a key lock for added security.

The seamless X-frame construction provides multiple openings for cable runs between racks, with a rear vertical array of 2" dia. holes plus 4" x 1.5" obround openings along the base. The bottom of the rack features a welded bracket in each corner with a hole for an anchor bolt, and a 10-32 threaded grounding stud.

The top of the rack features a 10U opening with riveted 10-32 threaded rails on 19" E.I.A. spacing, and includes two black closure panels which can be replaced with optional 19" panels. A 6"D rear conduit plane has combination EKOs for conduit and KOs for wireless antennae, plus room to field-punch an opening for 4" dia. conduit.

The rack offers abundant cable lacing points and generous wire management space of nearly 2" between front rails and front-to-rear rail supports. The 40U rack rails are fully adjustable, made from 11-gauge steel, and feature bidirectional numbered RU increments.

This rack is EIA/TIA compliant, RoHS compliant, and UL 2416 Listed in the U.S. and Canada. It ships with P.E.
