Because organization and accessibility are key in any professional setting, the LWBR-2428 24U Wall Rack with Base and 1 Pair Adjustable Rails, 28" Depth, in a sleek black finish, offers a robust and efficient solution for your equipment storage needs. This wall-mount rack is designed for convenience, swinging open effortlessly with a single-release grasp. It pivots smoothly on internal spring-loaded hinges and stainless steel ball transfers integrated into the base, enhancing load capacity by an additional 4U. The rack features a slam latch closure for secure storage and easy access.Constructed from certified 16-gauge U.S. steel, the rack is welded for added strength and durability. It is coated in a black wrinkle powder epoxy finish, providing a professional aesthetic that complements any workspace. The design includes beveled corners for a refined look and added safety.The backbox of the rack is designed with practicality in mind. It features a 4.69"D box that mounts on 16" centers, with an opening at the rear to accommodate wall obstructions. Multiple lacing points are included for efficient cable management. The sides and top of the backbox have upper and lower EKOs for conduit, with sizes ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/2". The top also includes KOs for wireless antennae, and a removable knockout panel for added versatility.The cabinet section of the rack opens with a single-release mechanism and pivots open 90 degrees on the support base. The swing direction can be easily changed from right to left using the internal spring-loaded hinges. The top 7U opening has an integral EIA rail for optional 19" accessories, and vents are included in the sides and front for optimal airflow.The rack comes with a pair of 11-gauge steel rails that are adjustable and recessed to allow clearance for equipment knobs and optional doors. The support base features stainless steel ball transfers for smooth pivoting of the loaded rack, and side EKOs for efficient cable management. Installation requires a minimum clearance of 45.67" to allow a 90-degree swing, with an additional 1" required for an optional door. The rack comes with black pilot point screws with captive washers for quick and easy installation. This wall rack is EIA/TIA compliant and RoHS compliant, ensuring it meets industry standards for safety and performance.
