The slam latch closure secures the rack in place, maintaining the safety and integrity of your devices.The backbox of this rack is thoughtfully designed with a 4.69" depth and mounts on 16" centers, featuring an opening to accommodate wall obstructions and multiple lacing points for efficient cable management. The sides boast upper/lower EKOs for conduit (2-1/2"), while the top is equipped with a removable knockout panel and combination EKOs for various conduit sizes, plus knockouts for wireless antennae (1/2"), enhancing the rack's adaptability.The cabinet (mounting section) itself is a marvel of engineering, opening with a single-release mechanism and pivoting open 90 degrees on a supportive base. The right-hand swing can be easily changed to left, thanks to the internal spring-loaded hinges. The top 10U opening includes an integral EIA rail for optional 19" accessories, and vents in the sides and front ensure adequate airflow. The center key lock allows for secure side-by-side installation.Inside the cabinet, one pair of 11-gauge steel rails (24U, 10-32 threaded holes, numbered RU increments) are recessed 0.63" to provide 1.38" clearance for equipment knobs and optional doors. The front access panel can be removed to mount equipment or accessories in the 4U space, which includes a pair of fixed-position rails.Installation of the LWBR-2432 is straightforward, requiring a minimum clearance of 49.67" (+1" for an optional door) to allow a full 90-degree swing.
