The backbox of the LWBR-3532 is engineered for convenience and versatility, with a 4.69" depth box that mounts on 16" centers. The sides feature upper and lower EKOs for 2-1/2" conduit, while the top boasts a removable knockout panel and combination EKOs for various conduit sizes, plus knockouts for wireless antennae.

The cabinet section, or mounting area, opens with a single-release mechanism and pivots open 90 degrees on the support base. The right-hand swing can be easily changed to the left by adjusting the internal spring-loaded hinges. The top 10U opening includes an integral EIA rail for optional 19" accessories, such as fan panels and lights, and can be closed with solid panels if desired. Vents in the sides and front, along with a center key lock, allow for secure side-by-side installation.

Inside the cabinet, one pair of 11-gauge steel rails (35U, 10-32 threaded holes, numbered RU increments) are recessed 0.63" to provide 1.38" clearance for equipment knobs and optional doors. These rails are adjustable, offering the flexibility to accommodate various equipment sizes.

The support base is designed with stainless steel ball transfers to assist in the smooth pivoting of a loaded rack and includes side EKOs for additional cable management. The top access panel and a removable front access panel provide extra space (4U) for mounting equipment or accessories.

For installation, a minimum clearance of 49.67" is required to allow a 90-degree swing, with an additional 1" if an optional door is used. The rack comes with black pilot point screws with captive washers, facilitating quick and hassle-free installation.
