Remote power controls are combined with sequencers and relays to provide an intrinsically safe, low voltage method of controlling AC power to equipment at remote locations. The RPC-P Series is designed for quick connections with pass-through RJ45 jacks and quick changes to sequencing steps with an onboard switch. An external sequencer and trigger switch is required for activation. Activation The RPC-P Series requires connection to external sequencer #SEQ-P4 to activate the first unit. Compatible remote power controls and relays can then be connected to the first unit in any order or combination. Note: The sequencer is connected to an external trigger (SPST switch or DSP voltage connection). Each device is sold separately. Scalable, Labor-Saving Installation RJ45 connectors and Cat5/Cat6 cable promote quick "pass-through" installation and make the system scalable-it's easy to add or remove units as system requirements change. And because the sequencing step is selected via the DIP switch on each unit, the startup sequence can be quickly modified without a need to re-wire.&#149; Install the RPC-P near equipment to be controlled and connect it to sequencer #SEQ-P4. The sequencer is also connected to an activation trigger (SPST switch or DSP voltage connection)&#149; Use the DIP switch on each RPC-P to select its sequencing step (1-4). Multiple units can be assigned to the same step&#149; Multiple RPC-P units can be connected to each other (or compatible relays) to control all from a single location (up to 20 RPC-P units per step)&#149; Maximum distance from the sequencer to the furthest RPC-P is 5,000 ft
