This device, featuring surge suppression and an L5-30R Twistlock Outlet, is designed to provide an intrinsically safe, low voltage method of power control. It's an integral part of the RPC-P Series, known for their quick connections via pass-through RJ45 jacks and easy modifications to sequencing steps with an onboard switch.To activate the RPC-P30-SHW, it requires connection to an external sequencer, specifically the #SEQ-P4. Once activated, you can connect compatible remote power controls and relays to the first unit in any order or combination. Please note that the sequencer is connected to an external trigger, either an SPST switch or a DSP voltage connection, and each device is sold separately.The RPC-P30-SHW is designed for scalable, labor-saving installation. The use of RJ45 connectors and Cat5/Cat6 cable allows for quick "pass-through" installation, making it easy to add or remove units as your system requirements change. The sequencing step is selected via the DIP switch on each unit, allowing for quick modifications to the startup sequence without the need for re-wiring.To install the RPC-P30-SHW, simply place it near the equipment to be controlled and connect it to sequencer #SEQ-P4. The sequencer is also connected to an activation trigger, either an SPST switch or a DSP voltage connection. Use the DIP switch on each RPC-P to select its sequencing step (1-4). Multiple units can be assigned to the same step, and multiple RPC-P units can be connected to each other, or compatible relays, to control all from a single location. Up to 20 RPC-P units can be controlled per step, and the maximum distance from the sequencer to the furthest RPC-P is 5,000 ft.
