Versatile rack shelf mounts behind front rack rails to support equipment that's wider than standard rail clearance of 17.813" (19"W rack).
Construction
• Three-piece shelf expands from 17.5"-22"W to provide extra mounting width behind rack rails
• Side supports (L-brackets) can be installed with long or short side up to emulate 2U or 3U panel space
• Certified U.S. steel with smooth black finish (16-gauge center section, 14-gauge side supports). Sections assemble without hardware
• Vented base
Mounting
• For racks 21U and taller
• Mounts behind front rack rails (screws into holes on inside angle of rails) using 2 standard rack screws with nuts on inside slots of each side.
• Side slots also have a keyhole opening that can be used to mount a single "set screw" on each side before mounting the shelf, allowing the shelf to be supported and then pulled forward and secured using 2 screws per side.
• Shelf and equipment should be mounted before other rack accessories to provide ample room for maneuvering equipment.
