Lowell Manufacturing WB86-6A40-T870 Speaker/Grille Assembly, Includes 6.5" Coaxial Compression Driver, 8W Transformer and White Screw-Mount Grille

This speaker assembly features a 6.5" 40W coaxial driver that's engineered as a step up in sound quality and performance over most standard commercial coaxial drivers, for very high quality music and paging.

Driver (6A40)
40W coaxial 6.5 inch driver has a wide angle of sound distribution (120 degrees conical) over a large area with uniform response and clear audibility ensures complete coverage with minimum units. Features 10 oz. magnet coupled with 1" copper voice coil driving a polypropylene cone with half-roll rubber surround for long cone travel and good edge damping. Post-mounted tweeter is a 1" balanced drive dome protected by Ferrofluid and a first order high-pass filter. Stamped 20 gauge steel frame with black enamel paint finish and zinc-plated backplate. Meets or exceeds all applicable E.I.A. standards.

Transformer (TLM-870)
Factory-wired transformer (Model No. TLM-870) has tap selections at 1, 2, 4, 8W (70V) and includes a bracket mounted to top of magnet for secure support.

Grille (WB-8-6)
Grille is precision formed from a single piece of 22-gauge steel with a perforated center and contoured edge. It features 8-32 x 1" welded studs with nuts for concealed mounting of an E.I.A. 6.5" speaker. It is equipped with four white 8-32 x 1-1/2" Phillips-head screws for attaching the speaker-grille assembly to the backbox or mounting ring (order separately). Finished in white powder epoxy.
