LaserMax Infrared Micro Rail Mounted Laser for Use with Night Vision Glasses

The popular LaserMax Micro laser system is now available in an Infrared version for use with night vision devices. The smallest and lightest in its class, Micro-IR is a perfect match for compact and even sub-compact pistols with a Picatinny or Weaver rail. Built to easily withstand the shock of recoil, Micro maintains a sleek and contoured profile and has nothing to hang up or snag when holstered or carried in a bag, pocket or on a belt. Only U.S. persons are eligible to purchase LaserMax IR products.

User installed onto the firearm frame, the Micro requires only one-inch of rail space, making it compatible with more pistol models than other any rail mounted laser offered today. Advanced features include an automated battery life preservation mode that switches the laser off after 10 minutes, safeguarding against the unintentional draining of battery life. LaserMax's signature Controlled Activation switch enables both left and right-handed shooters to activate the laser when needed, avoiding an inadvertent and potentially risky reveal of the user's position. The location of laser and activation place the trigger finger in a position that reinforces NRA rules for safe handling of firearms and also prevents any potential blocking of the beam by the trigger finger.

The Micro-IR joins LaserMax's visible Micro laser, providing a commonly requested solution for operators who utilize Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) in the field. At one time available solely to members of law enforcement and the military, IR laser sights are now also offered to civilians through select retailers.
